just pointing out a fatal flaw in most posts i see lately

The power difference in the consoles you mentioned are not all that far from each other

but compared to the 360 and PS3 power wise it would take 2-3 Wii's combinedjust to be equal if not more....

lol no... its like this the 360 and ps3 are like the psp and the wii is the ds. u can do super mario galaxy but the wii can'tr pump out no egars or killzone. really tho gamecube was powerfuler then the ps2...but now...whoc ares, that was last gen....it has nothing to do with the wii atm.

honestly people... I think the point is that Nintendo is capable of creating outstanding hardware where too many people are calling Nintendo weak, yet they have always competed in the graphics department, until now when they decided upon a new route.

No way...The PS1 wasn't that much weaker than the N64, and even if it were, it had the advantage of using CDs over the N64's cartridges. The PS3 and 360 absolutely destroy the Wii in terms of power. Think about it: The 360 and PS3 can both emulate their predecessors; the Wii isn't even drastically more powerful than the Gamecube.

Let's face it: The Wii may or may not be a ground-breaking system (depending on your view of motion control in games), but it sure as hell isn't a powerful one.

PS1 and N64 were about equal. But last gen, gamecube was definitely in last place, xbox in second, and the ps2 in first place. Last gen, the only area Nintendo dominated was the handheld market, with the GBA.muay_thai_demon

This generation the Wii is far behind the PS3 and 360 IN TERMS OF POWER however the difference between the 360 and PS3 is currently debatable, we will have to wait a little while longer before we notice any kind of important difference between the two. This gen PS3 used BD-ROM and the Xbox and Wii used DL-DVD which read faster but contain much less data.

The Gamecube was easily more powerful then the PS2 which was more powerful then the Dreamcast. The most powerful of em all was the Xbox.

I like them in this order Xbox, PS2, DC, GCN

Gen before that it was the Saturn being more powerful then the PS1 with the N64 being the most powerful of all.

I liked them in this order: N64, PS1, Saturn
