Steam sale always goes cheaper. Console games asks 60 euros for only graphicsal upgrade, but this game has now multiplayer too.

They said Age of Empire 2 is not coming with expansions and bam, all dlcs were already in game.

I'd take having much more content over a slight graphical improvement. There's already mods that improve it's graphics anyway.

The game also goes on sale quite often on GOG. You can get it for around £3.

What this graphics mod helps when it has no online? Steam has online, community, stats, achivements, ranked, forums, everything. Its like you want to play Playstation 2 version but not Playstation 4 version.

Are you trolling or do you honestly believe that having a game on steam with less content is worth twice the price? The fact that you list achievements and forums (which you don't even need to buy the game to use) makes me think you are a troll.

The only improvement this version has is new online servers. The old one still has multiplayer.

This is one of the most half arsed re-releases I've seen in quite a while. It's worse than the original game and costs twice as much. How can you defend that?

From what I can see, they've extended the UI so you can see more of the world map at one time. All the other views are simply letterboxed.

Sorry, I'd rather pay less and play the game in a window.
