In the trailer at almost the end there is an old rusty container ship that says platapus on the side.......If u look on the back of the boat it says liberty city.....after it pans out the russian guy says mabie things will be different here after he walks away from the boat.......so does this mean that gta4 is not in liberty city but just set in nyc???

My theory on that is that it was a boat FROM liberty city into NYC. Importing happens people. And for people who think it's liberty city, did you NOT see the Chrysler building, timesquare, or the statue of liberty? No pun intended on that one :P.

Did you not see the sign saying welcome to liberty city, the police cars that says LCPD, the liberty tree signs, the liberty ferry terminal?

Ok so we have the statue of liberty, time square, the Metalife building (renamed GetaLife :P) and there's LCPD cars, and signs? The ferry could have actually come from LC but what the hell's going on here?
Wait, just figured out- Liberty City but more realisticly made to look like NYC. :D

Liberty City is the GTA version of NYC. It just seems that they are making the Next Gen version of Liberty City closer to the real thing.
