Hey Fanboys! What Your Biggest Gripe About Your Own Console/Platform?

Just wondering what people hate most about there own console. For Example: On My PS3 I hate the fact that it doesn't come with a headset so games sound very empty. So SW any complaints about yours?

Yeah I've gotten it twice...

Anyway, I only have minor gripes. For instance, when I'm playing a game and somebody signs on, there's just a dull looking gray box in the upper right corner with a generic smiley face on the left with the person's name that signed on. It's always something that I felt was going to be changed but here we are 4 years down the line and it still looks like a feature out of a Beta for PSN. Sony needs to make that a little more appealing

It won't play my MP3s from my flashdrive and Installs.

Pay for online, Rip offs (Wi-Fi adapter, hardrives)

Wii

No real online service such as XBL and PSN.

PS3: Yellow Light of Death

Wii: Nunchuk/Classic Controller with octagonal edges surrounding the joystick

360: Noise (haven't gotten RRoD yet, but have only owned it for a few months)

360: It's overall crappyness.

PS3: Crap games other than one, mgs4. And every other game looks better on the s**ty xbox.

PSP: No second thumbstick

PC: Stuck with an AGP motherboard from 5 years ago.

A questionable future of exclusives.

PS3:

• Dust (i've got the old ps3)... or, the sixaxis (my dog chewed up my dualshock 3, so i've gone back to using sixaxis :x )

360:

• MS Points... get rid of this crap please

Wii:

• no 1st party rechargeable battery solution means using overpriced 3rd party rechargeable battery stations that don't last nearly as long as my 360/PS3 controllers and require taking the wiimote out of the motion+ thing everytime i need to recharge the stupid thing

PC:

• sometimes after spending all day doing work the last thing i wanna do is sit in front of a computer :?

I hate that I didn't put a big enough HDD in my PC. So because of that, I just had to buy a 500GB external HDD.

Wii: The Online Service

It needs to be better. I want Demos, Better Downloadable games like Braid or Super Street Fighter HD Remix and DLC for my Wii games. I also want something less Laggy heck the Wii's Online Service was made specifically for the DS so why not step it up a bit for the Wii I mean it's a Console not a Handheld.

Xbox 360: The Online Service

I have to PAY to play games ONLINE??? REALLY I HAVE TO GIVE YOU MONEY TO PLAY ONLINE?????? THIS ISN'T A MMO!

PS3: The Online Service

PSN Plus Sucks, Sony. Where's the games? You don't have most of the Games that the 360 has on your Online store! Downloads on there take forever! and updates too!

PC: Hardware.

For a Regular PSP I have to go and buy a specific Memory Stick in order to save games. That's horrble Sony...Horrible.

360 when you buy an originalmicrosoft studios xbox game it will get bundled with a better xbox

ds alot of mediocre titles nobody really wants 2 play

psp. battery life great games if they were not rehashed ps2/ps3 games

pc hardware specs pay to play online

wii: friend codes. it has really good games but people dont like them because they seem kiddish or not good graphics or think the wiis whole library is crap

ps3: updates, game library, the online seems to be less active than 360

360: money. that is all

PS3: Not enough games that I enjoy

DS: Nothing

MKV is a video codec, not a keyboard (if I'm not mistaken lol).

Even though I have a hard drive with my 360, it's stupid how it's not standard, and devs can't assume there'll be one for each 360 they make a game for, affecting how they program the games.

None of the current gen systems have received an update to take advantage of "ADVANCE FORMAT" HDD/SSD disks. :evil:

Its the future yet wheres my update ?

360: Way too dependent on internet. Loud fan noise also doesn't help.

PS3: Cannot play music during games makes me put on a sad face

I don't have a BC Ps3 so that's my biggest gripe about it. My 360 Elite doesn't have wireless internet. My Wii isn't in HD..

PS3: Can't switch users without quitting game

360: Pay to play online

Wii: Can't calibrate the wiimotes and only has sensor above/below tv settings

PC: I want a new one.

wii - serious lack of quality games, no dvd player

ps3 - cant playmy own music during games. i mean i know its easy enough to just mute the music and just play my own music through my computer or whatever, but i just dont understand why i cant play the 30 or so gigs of music that i have stored on my ps3 while im playing games.

People have terrible misunderstandings about the cost and its welfare. PC in case you didn't guess, but I tried being rather blatant.

My still functional NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, handhelds, and PS2 beg to differ

Nothing, my preferred console(s) is/are perfect and anyone who says otherwise is a blind fanboy :P

• No Blu-ray player
• Phat: Bulky HDD, faulty hardware
• Slim: Finger-print hell, touch buttons

PS3:

• No trophy support for many early PS3 titles
• Lacks optional game install
• XBL > PSN (IMHO)

Wii:

• No achievement/trophy support
• No HD
• No HDD

I have a PS3 and theres no Mass Effect 2!!

Trophies - People can look at my profile and judge me ( when I have 5% on Disgaea 3 even though I have played it for more than 300 hours before the trophy patch )
