Hey Hermits what is best looking racing game?

We all know the best looking shooter is Crysis.but whats the best looking racing game?

I'd say its Burnout Paradise.

I think basically you started this thread to try and goad hermits into a bit a of a flame war regarding graphics so you can start talking about how there are no racers that look as good as GT5 on PC.

And to be honest, you'd be right. So I am pre-empting you by agreeing with you and saying yes, GT5 is the best racer graphically. So sit down, pick up your handset and count the days till it comes out :P

Yeah...PC racing market is dominated by console ports and PC-only hardcore sims (which make GT series play like arcade incomparision, but nobody really cares about graphics)

the new race driver: grid looks great. its built on the same engine as Dirt.

And you know its gonna be true the PC version will look a tad bit better due to the resolution and AA and lets not forget the ability to use a G25 steering wheel and head tracker :)

Currently?

Dirt, PGR4, MotorStorm, Burnout Paridise, GT5 imo.

Though for racing sims nothing really beats Race 07 and GTR2 on PC, let alone Live for Speed.

Gotta say arcade racers wise consoles are easily the best, even though Trackmania is awesome.

I've been wondering when consolites would grab this straw. :P But yeah, console racers are generally better looking, PGR4 or GT5 demo(or whatever) are prolly the best looking. On PC, DiRT propably.

i havent picked up dirt on the PC but that sure does look beautiful.

Dirt looks great. Gran Turismo 5 also looks fantastic.

Edit: Grid also looks uber.
