Okay...Ultimately, HD=anything with 720+ lines vertically of pixels.

My display has 1200 pixels vertically, hence, it is HD.

My family's 5 year old monitor has 1024x768 (I think) resolution. How is that not Ultimately HD?

because there are no hd channels with monitors, it's been a standard for who knows how long, when tv's get more advanced they'll eventually drop the hd.

Then how PC games can run @ 1600x1200 resolution? Or is that still Standard Definition?

How old is your monitor? How old is your tv? On my computer, the games are nicer looking by a long shot, but I have no clue what your looking at when playing your games.

I already admitted (in my past topic) that I just didn't know PC Moniter res. was the same type as TV's but you guys still laughed, then I called you nerds for getting after me on something so dumb and you guys got mad and so on. Thats why you guys seem desperate and in need of such simply uninformed people as myself.

Going slightly off topic if the Phantom wasn't cancelled then people would easily be enjpying those high res PC games on a TV.

Well PCs have had HD for years, and it was new to consoles so of course there's going to be fuss. And it doesn't need to be called "HD" to be "HD". I'm sorry but 1200p > 1080p.

the picture you posted is smaller then the original, I did find the original and it still doesn't look great, but what can you expect from a game that's not close to release
