I own and play all of his games, So I'm down.
Kamiya doesn't work for CAPCOM, and there was a bit of a falling out, but if he can get his job with them or get PLATINUM to do the work with Capcom that would be cool.
Guys, also, KAMIYA created and directed RE2, DMC1, Viewtiful Joe, Okami...and up next is Bayonetta.
As far as him not wanting to return to OKAMI, I'm sure that has to due with the tampering of his beloved property.

Well, screw him, then. ![](http://justinmg.home.comcast.net/forums/gsindifferent.gif)

Well, Okami was created, concieved, and directed by Kamiya. In the end it's still a CAPCOM property, but It was a fantastic game, but the TC didn't mention this, and it makes sense.
Hideki Kamiya :"I heard the announcement that someone else would be making a (DS) sequel," he told the magazine. "Now I'm just not interested in it anymore."
That would be aggravating to see your IP being messed with, but that's the industry for ya.
The article went on to say :
"Kamiya, who left Capcom along with Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and other key staffers to form the now-defunct Clover Studio, doesn't retain the rights to any of the IPs he created at either company -- but nevertheless feels that the story of Viewtiful Joe "is incomplete," adding "I'd like to finish it someday."
While that's probably a long shot, Kamiya has already proven he's a man full of amazing ideas, which we'll hopefully see many more of after Bayonetta -- a game he could very well make a sequel to -- is released in the US on January 5."

And there we have it. :P
