I think he's ingenious, but clearly overrated. Not his fault though, I mean what can he do?

I doubt many people knew him before Metal Gear Solid came along. Some of us were already his fans, but didn't even knew who he was.

I played Snatcher and Policenauts when they released, and I honestly cannot recall any magazine ever advertising him. In those games, they always referred to them simply as "Konami".

Because the story in the game is amazing is why I like Hideo Kojima.

First off, I don't know what the AIAS is, nor do I care.

Second, since you compared MGS3 and Fable, 8.7 compared to 8.6, MGS3 is clearly the better game. But what about when the creators want to add some content in? MGS3: Subsistence compared to Fable: The Lost Chapters is 9.0 to 8.0. So Kojima bettered himself while Molyneaux. who added great additions to the game, did not.

I love Fable and can't wait for Fable 2, and honestly I love Fable more than MGS (though I'm anticipating MGS's release more due to it being sooner than Fable 2's), but AIAS Hall of Fame or not, Kojima creates the better gaming according to Gamespot. Plus, the story is deeper in MGS.

The cinematics are great and the story is amazingly well told because of such. MGS would not be where it is today without it's story, and many people enjoy the cutscenes that develop the characters and plot points of the game.

Kojima's gameplay in the MGS series is unique and has many twists that make it such.

Have you played the games, timing your run-through and timing the cinematics, then dividing the cinematics by the time of your run-through to get that number of 80%? Doubtful. Especially in MGS3, there is plenty of gameplay there and while the cinematics can range up to half an hour at times, the gameplay is still an important aspect.

The games are deep and engaging.

Really, I only see you making the same arguments that I debunk a post later. The game is not all cutscenes like you said, and FYI, the cutscenes are an important aspect of the series. The series has substance, and nowhere do I see a reason as to why Kojima is overrated.
