Which two system combinations would you rather have?

PC and PS3!
Got a PS3 which i use for gaming and PC for gaming news, watching movies and studies.. thats about it
I wish I could get a PS3 and PC, but it isn't an option unless I somehow get rid of my 360. So its only between the two options I stated in OP.
Well I had a Wii and a 360 and I had to choose between a new PC or a PS3. I choose the PC in the end, it isn't high end though but it plays Dragon Age and Crysis both on very high settings with AA (only x2 for Crysis) and AFx16.
PC and PS3 for sure, lot of (not all) 360 games are pc/360. So with PC and PS3 you cover more games then the other combos.
Thing is, most PC games I'm interested in are RTS games and the exclusives the system seems to get outside of that genere is dying.. Most games that are cool and aren't on the PS3 seem to be PC/360 games like L4D. Basically, the only game coming for PC im intrested in right now is SC2 and I think my comp can play that just fine. The PS3 has far more titles I'm interested in (God of War 3, Uncharted, MGS4, LBP, etc) but the PC also has mods...
Pc + ps3 No brainer. flyingsnailYep, because you clearly weren't thinking when you made this post, or else you would know that's not an option for him
PS3 only. All you need is a PS3 to get the best gaming experience possible. I have a 360 and gaming PC but I rarely use it.

what's your gamertag?
PC + PS3 no contest.
Why would I need a 360 if I have an awesome gaming PC? Especially when it's 50 bucks a year extra just to play the damn online. Talk about a rip off.
So get rid of your 360. It's well worth it.I wish I could get a PS3 and PC, but it isn't an option unless I somehow get rid of my 360. So its only between the two options I stated in OP.

[QUOTE="ohthemanatee"][QUOTE="Brainhunter"]First Case : PC + 360 = Enormous Multiplatform overlap Second Case : PS3 + 360 = Enormous Multiplatform overlap Best Case : PC + PS3 = Best of multiplats on PC, you get PC exclusives from all generations, PS3 gets exclusive titles. Worst Case : PC + 360 = Too many multiplatform titles shared between platforms, with PC winning out most of the time in every technical aspect aside from online.DragonfireXZ95You do know that the 360 has more exclusives then the PS3 right? therefore going by your logic having a PC+PS3 is even worse then having the 360+PC It does? Where's the list at?

Definitely an exaggeration, although the 360 does have less AAAE+ games [although only by 1 game].
Looking at the list, though, you have two Forza Motorsports, GRAW (of which the PC has its own version), Gears of War 2 (PC has the original), Perfect Dark Zero (Gamespot is the only review site anyone knows of to give this one AAA), and then Halo 3/ODST.
In comparison, PS3 has unique AAAEs of which the PC has no real counterpart. That's why I would personally recommend PS3 + PC over 360 + PC, although it really depends on taste and how big of fan you are of certain game series.

I wasn't going by the list, I was going by pure hard numbers. Although if we use the list then his list is still wrong.
If he had said variety like you mentioned then I would have agreed with him
Not a big fan of halo, i like it, and I admit I thought ODST was awesome. But overall there are better games out thereso people who picked PC and 360 was because they want to play Halo?

Yeah, I was gonna say, if we go by top tier games, then PS3 has more unique games. Didn't know you meant all the games ever made for both systems. You wouldn't take the high end PC?...what is the world coming to.XBox 360 and PS3 are the obvious choice. Doesn't get much better then that.

Or the fact that the Xbox 360 has 330 more rated games than the PS3 on Metacritic. Quite a few arn't that great, but 70 and up... the Xbox 360 has the PS3 beat by well over 131 titles. That's a HUGE chunk of games the PS3 doesn't have.so people who picked PC and 360 was because they want to play just one game on 360(Halo)?

Other than halo i honestly dont see other games where someone would buy the 360 if they already have a decent PC.
