The Wii games are typically rated around pre 360/PS3 gen so basically the GC, PS2, and Xbox.
A high rated Wii game like Mario Galaxy would be around an 7.5-8.5 max at Gamespot.

 Its true, go to your local game store and look at the Wii shelf and tell me hes wrong. You"ll see a bunch of shovelware casual crap. The wii as a whole is a system filled with average/casual games.

lol.
I've found that mid rated Wii games are better than the AAA clones on the twins.

I actually do agree with this in a few cases.
And the Galaxy games in particular are better than any platformer on the HD consoles. Yes I own all the consoles, so I'm not some fanboy, it's just true..
Graphics aren't everything, guys.

Oh really? Well if we can make up BS like this, then by PC standards, MGS4 is an 8, and Uncharted3 a 7.
Its true, go to your local game store and look at the Wii shelf and tell me hes wrong. You"ll see a bunch of shovelware casual crap.ZlychopSo that means there are no legitimate good games on the system?
Sure, buddy.
Those who argue standards change for platforms are just mad that Nintendo exclusives score higher than their precious mature blood/gore realistic games for hardcore realistic mature older non-kiddie gamers.
Can't face the numbers so deny them right? Deal with it.
I own a PS3 and Wii and I must say the Wii exclusives are of a much higher quality than the PS3 exclsives IMO. If anything, some of them are underrated. Then again I derive the quality of a game almost purely from gameplay and level design and that's where Nintendo games shine. These aspects are also not effected so much from tech. Good level design is timeless
 So I suppose Xenoblade Chronicles is average, considering almost everyone who played it said it is the best JRPG of this gen. So I wonder, what are all those other JRPGs? Bad games? The wii as a whole is a system filled with average/casual games.

Yes. It's all about maths, grafx and being unbiased and scientific. AAA games on the HD twins are AAA. AA games on the PC are AAA games on the HD twins because of teh better grafx and higher standards. Wii AAA games are like A games on the HD twins because of teh horrible grafx and lower standards. PSP AAA games are AA games on teh Wii becuz teh lower standards and A on teh HD twins. AAA DS games are, like, 2.5/10 on the HD twins becuz of teh lower standards.
On the same note, 2D games are ALWAYS inferior. They can be gorgeous to look at and contain hundreds of hours of gameplay and replay value, but being 2D automatically makes them inferior to your average barely playable 3D & HD experience and should never be released as retail games; only downloadable, free if possible. That's not negotiable.
There you go. System Wars in a nutshell.

What's funny is the only thing that stops him from thinking they're good games is the damn logo on a plastic machine that plays them. This is probably the smartest post we'll get out of this thread, so I motion for a lock.Yes. From that particular Link.
We Rate Games According to the Current Standards of Their Platforms and Genres
Every gaming platform is different, especially in terms of its technical features. However, we believe high-quality gaming experiences are possible on all the gaming platforms that we cover. So we review games against the standards of their respective platforms by implicitly comparing them to other games on that same platform and, to a lesser extent, to other games in that genre. As a result, our ratings of games on different platforms are not intended to be directly compared to one another. However, relative comparisons do apply, so a game that scores poorly is a poor game by any standards, while a game that scores extremely high is an outstanding game by any standards.
