It is crazy how big of a difference there is between the two versions. The X1X version runs at native 4k HDR with 30 fps locked or unlocked. There is also a performance mode with 1440p @60fps.
Meanwhile the PS4 has only a 1440p @30fps mode. The draw distance, texture filtering, shadow details are all reduced even compared to the X1X performance mode.
They compared the performance of the X1X quality mode unlocked vs performance mode unlocked. The difference was huge, the performance mode offer mostly 60 fps with some dips in demanding areas. Then they compared the X1X performance mode to the PS4 Pro version unlocked framerate. The X1X was running a lot better as the PS4 Pro struggled to hold a little over 30 fps. They didn't mention but I noticed the PS4 Pro's performance was comparable to the X1X running unlocked in Quality Mode(4K HDR @30 fps).
This is beyond embarrassing for PS4 Pro. It can barely maintain 30fps with reduced quality @1440p. Meanwhile the X1X will give you the choice between native 4k @ 30fps or 1440p@ 60fps. World of a difference. No wonder everyone compares the X1X to a high end PC rather than the PS4 Pro.
