Absolution does the whole "hide in plain sight" thing way better. It's also a hell of a lot more challenging, deep, and fun than any Assassin's Creed I've ever played.
And lastly, I can't give you any insight on this topic since I haven't finished AC3 and haven't played Hitman (nor would I in any time soon). But AC3 is pretty awesome so far for me.funsohng

Assassin's Creed is a game for stealth noobs and casuals. Absolution on the proper settings is a game for only the most hardcore and manliest of gamers.

Of course it is. That's why added "for me" specifically. It's true. Punk ass Sam Fisher got nothing on the man, the myth, The Agent 47. He's twice the "THE" sam will ever be. Plus Timothy Olyphant played him in the movie. Aint no Raylene Givens gonna play Sam Fisher.Assassin's Creed is a game for stealth noobs and casuals. Don't even try to suggest that Assassin's Creed is better than Hitman. Don't you do it.

at stealth? hell no. As a game? About on par. Fun for a rent, but lets get real here.ACIII can waste a good few hours but its very buggy and a bit repetitive after a while. it also has so many great mechanics in place but squanders them all and thinks it's a better game than it actually is. Still fun though
Hitman surprised me, it's not exactly like older hitman games, it is a bit more limiting in its approach compared to older Hitman games. but its still quite good. has some decent stealth segments. It's one of the best looking PC games around too

Absolution has wonderful content. It's totally worth 100 dollar price of admission
So? big whoop it has content. The question is if it's good or worthy my time. From Hitman 1 to Blood Money all of them have been worth a playthrough, but as it stands never been impressed by anything in that series as far as stealth goes. Chaos Theory and Thief were all around better. I'd also rather play MGS. Hitman was like field filler status

Of course it is. All I know is this new one is a total BAMF and sh*ts on every other game that has been pretending to be a stealth game this generation. I actually forgot what a stealth game was until Absolution and all of it's divine wisdom has arrived to remind me. Now I know and am here to share that wisdom.

I'm just saying. You shouldn't have to A: it goes without saying that it's your f*cking opinion. the "IMO" or "for me" disclaimers for the bleeding vagina crowd on Sw is unnecessary. They should be able to put 2 and 2 together. B: It's Hitman. I dont get it So I did it right or wrong. I am little sleepy.
Apparently you need to try some Hotline Miami. It's suppose to be legit. Dishonored you should try also. I've had fun even though I haven't touched it in a month. jg4xchamp
It was a toss up between Dishonored and Absolution. I decided to buy Absolution because it reminded me the least of Bioshock, lol.

Champ's just a lil cranky. He must be getting old.

You did nothing wrong. The fact that you have to because people here have a vagina is the wrong. jg4xchampThere are girls in System Wars? Asking more questions than my god damn niece right now... I take it all back. All of it. Sheesh lol okay

Eh he was better on Dead Wood
Hitman absolution?? dumbed down version of once an amazing stealth series Assasins creed 3? Terrible game from Terrible series. I go with Neithermems_1224its not dumbed down, in fact its more of a stealth game than any hitman game before it.
Aint no joke. I've been stuck on the second mission for hours just trying to get a near perfect run of it. Game is hard as f*ck. I don't even want to imagine what Expert and Purist mode are like.
And lastly, I can't give you any insight on this topic since I haven't finished AC3 and haven't played Hitman (nor would I in any time soon). But AC3 is pretty F*CKING awesome so far for me. GOTY 2012 BOOK IT!funsohng
fixed.

Such good grammar. Have you been taking English lessons from SNIPER?I don't like both so I don't have either.

Thanks for letting me know that there's something wrong with my grammar.
Absolution is better to me.
The bledning in mechanic can be tweaked a little bit. But all in all absolution was better to me.
The funny thing is AC has never been about stealth and Hitman pre-Absolution hasn't been either.Assassin's Creed is a game for stealth noobs and casuals. Absolution on the proper settings is a game for only the most hardcore and manliest of gamers.

It'd be quite cool if everyone could give a reason as to why which one they think is better. Like princeofshapeir (not suggesting he was the only one just the one on this page )XalonRI'm having trouble deciding what Hitman is my favorite. The older ones were more open, but Absolution offers better stealth mechanics. I also like the hiding in plain sight feature. Gameplay wise, I'd put it above the older ones because of those improvements. Perhaps the sequel might blend them more together. All I know is, I'm looking forward to it.
