Still believe the LIES about PS3 pre-orders going well? Then THINK AGAIN. If things are so rosy, how come HMV is giving away a grand of games just to tempt the scum into pre-ordering one?

What's happened here is HMV had a meeting where questions like "S***! What can we do to shift some of these useless things no one wants?" were asked, then someone suggested doing a competition.

No one else had any better ideas, so they did a competition.



Never before has there been a better time to throw a bin through a shop window.

most ppl know that the ps3 might have record preorders only because they have the most supply (since it's not a world launch). they haven't even sold out of preorders on amazon uk

Whats wrong with a little advertising? I dunno the pre-order situation here but from what you've shown that doesn't warrant the excuse of poor pre-order numbers. Let us wait for the official numbers... Y'know, after it releases.

Yup, Pretty much.

As far as I have heard the pre-orders are coming along nicely, slightly* behind the Wii  in presales.

*slightly = 2/3

this is just what i have heard, so dont quote me on this..

I think the idea is 24 is all of the ones available at launch. There wouldn't be any choices to be made.

I believe it was a last minute decision to release a PAL version of that game so it wont be reasy for launch. They are spared that experience.

very true though if it was getting sold out a company wouldn't need to do this right?
