mgs4 doesnt have as large as a fanbase as gears, mgs4 has some hardcore gamers as a fan base, and gears has casual and hardcore gamers so its not that impressive but its still good

Good, it's a solid game, although most of you are about to find out it's incredibly short. STill a fun ride, and the Online is ther.

GeoW was very short too, and sold great, but at least EPIC knew that and added Horde mode. Great game deserve great sales. I am finished with LBP, Fable 2, and still have to finish Resistance2.

Sales Wise, GeoW will be the best next to Wii games like Wii Fit and Wii Music.

yes very true. Gears appeals to a lot more people than MGS4. That doesn't necessarily mean it's better, of course.

it has only had one game out before gears 2 and that was gears 1, the fact that 1 game "gears1" created a fanbase bigger than mgs4 in a 1 game franchise is impressive.

I own both. I'll take Gears 2 over it time and time again. Really just all personal preference.

The PS3 could have had 21 million and MGS4 would never sell as many copies as Gear of War 2, Halo 3 or even CoD IV. That's a fact.
