Holy Crap, the Wii's owning

I knew that the wii was selling a lot, but I never knew how much it was ahead by. Got to say that 2007 console race is safely in the hands of Nintendo.

I know, I play my 360 more than my wii, but the wii's being bought by casual gamers (30 years and up, or 13 years and down).

Also Nintendo has a bigger "hardcore" fanbase than the PS or the 360, and since they are coming up with SSBB, Galaxy, and other games Nintendo might become the next PS2. Its cheap and everyone can play it.

Sadly yes, the sad part is how many poor people fall for gimicks. Sure it may be cheep but it sucks haha.

BWII, Endless Ocean, Geometry Wars, and a lot more come out within the next 2 months.

So now these sales might be justified by something other then Wii Sports!

thank you. glad someone (actually a few of you) see things my way. its not that i dont like wii, its just that from what I can see it has nothing to even come close to comparing to Halo 3 or Metal Gear Solid 4

mario and zelda games will be the only consistent AA and once in a blue moon AAA games during the whole consoles life because they get 0 multiplatforms.

console has no good games. bunch of little mini games, rehashes and ports with its occasional new zelda and mario which is the same game like everytime.

I agree. The 3 year warranty is a gimmick that people are falling too easily for.

they're just different, not better. And it doesn't nearly make up for the fact that other than control mechanisms, the Wii is in every sense last generation hardware. It all comes down to a choice between which you'd prefe. Sheep need to stop believing that somehow they're riding the waves to a gaming evolution and realize their console has an interesting, but limited control scheme that has captured the fickle attention of the mass markets. Enjoy it while it lasts, sure, but the Wii is still a crippled runt of a machine.

yeah its lots of fun.... for about 20 mins. and sadly, that was still the 2nd most fun experience i've had on Wii.

All I want to know is if you guys feel as ripped off as I do when you play it on a 37 inch HDTV. I can't believe there was such a time when i wanted the damn thing.falconclan

i know i was too! b4 i got it i was like " man i want a Wii soo bad!!" and then after i got it, the signature 2 weeks pasted and its been collecting dust ever since.

Mm I wouldn't say that, the Wii has shown to have some pretty promising games with Metroid Prime 3 being the most recent.. As well as many others on release.. In the end I don't think any one would go wrong with buying a Wii.

i have correct cables. i bought the component cables when i got my HDTV. what Wii needs is good, let me rephrase that, decent games.

Alright, i spent $1200 on a new TV to play PS3 and 360, and I tried playing the wii hoping it would look the same or at least not SOOOO bad, but its practically unplayable, RE4 looks like mud on the beautiful tv.

And I'm glad someone out there finds enjoyment, but I don't see how ANY hardcore gamers could. The games are practically minigames and when they aren't they probably would have been better off on another system without the stupid controler.
