Its nothing like Far Cry one ... its more lik STALKER but in Africa, with actual friends on the field, which ... when your shot to near death will drag you away to keep you alive, you have to remove the bullets from your body ect ...

2 maps ... each 25 km's or something (or 50 was it?) ..

Did you read the article? It states it as p.c only and the game's world is streamed from the HARDRIVE!!! Which means, that it will be contained completely on the hardrive, which only a p.c will accomplish. Sure the ps3 has a hardrive but sony will be damned before 10 gigs of it goes toward a game. Teh 360=no because it techincally doesn't have a hardrive standard. /done.

It's also not even being made by Crytek, but Ubisoft Montreal, which is probably Ubisoft's strongest dev house. The only thing FC2 has in common with Far Cry 1 is the name and the engine. I can only assume they took the Far Cry license for sales and marketing purposes, since it's already a pretty decently established name.

Watch the new video interview please. No, it's not coming to consoles sorry. Maybe some kind of spin-off will after it's released on the PC. Do you really want a spin-off of a game like this? Have you read up on it at all?

Do you even read? the game REQUIRES a full installation, meaning half the Xbox community would be cut off from it in the first place ... THIS IS NOT A FAR CRY SEQUAL!

MGS 3 I agree with, but Killzone 2 got reviewed awful across the board ... for more than just "glitches" ... which btw I didnt seem to encounter in the game ... it was the god awful gameplay that made it so bad.

Just like what Crytek said about Crysis - possible spinoff here also people, not the vanilla game.

Ubisoft concentrating on a PC game......That's proof enough for me that there's good money to be made in PC gaming market contrary to what some console fanboys seem to think.....

Yeah, its too bad for 360 owners who lack a hardrive. Microsoft is alienating them.

I have a very hard time believing that this game could ever be made to run on consoles.

"Far Cry 2 is the closest game we've seen yet to a true "open world," and that's not just because you can roam around the entire game without ever seeing a loading screen."

The simple fact of the matter is, this game is the antithesis of console gaming. There are countless examples of console hardware limitations streamlining the gaming experience. For example, Thief III. The original Thief, and The Metal Age both were designed for the PC only. Their levels are enormous. Same holds true for Deus Ex. Look at the sequals Invisable War: the levels are tiny, draw distances are shortened, texture quality is less, and the list goes on and on.

It may be true that a variant of this game will be released for console. But what Ubisoft is trying to achieve in this game, just can't be pulled off with a console.

Read through the entire preview. Crysis now seems simplistic, Stalker now seems puny and underambitious. It seriously sounds like the near perfect FPS.
