Here is an awesome vid featuring the awesomeness that is CryENGINE 2.
Can't wait for more games to be made with the engine.

Aaahhh good old CryEngine 2 As ever making everythi g els on the market look like crap. But seriously though were those teacups made of rubber? Why in the hell didn't they smash. Probably should have made those tennis balls(or something) rather that teacups...Mr-nameless
it was sort of a joke on Crytek's part.
Modders/modelers recognize that teacup from 3DSMAX.
Also, this is a copy of a Sony Bravia commercial that had hundreds of bouncy balls going down the street.
See this video.

It was stolen, it was done to show how their engine could recreate a real clip.
Did they get Sony's permission?

It was almost photorealistic, key word being almost. Very Very close though...

Who cares, you dont work for Sony so dont worry about it.
When I first started watching the video I thought it was all real. For the first 15 seconds atleast.
[QUOTE="soldier-dark"]Watching that video, after a few seconds, I just suddenly noticed. "Holy ****! It's not real!"SimpJee
Yeah, that engine is crazy. I hear an MMO is being made based off of it, that's going to be awesome in a couple of years :P
5 MMO's
So far only MMO's have been announced as using the engine. Crytek does have 3 other projects though(in addition to Crysis 2) which will be using the engine.
But outside of Crytek only 5 other developers have licensed the engine and all for MMO type games.
