Actually its more like the game called Second Life. Though who cares, its a decent idea to intregate into gaming and Id like to see it totally fleshed out before I say its great or not.

Same here; it looks likea great idea, but for me it's trying to shake the fact that it reminds far too much of Second Life, which could be why I'm fairly skeptical about it at this point.
Even the cows can't deny this. I wish the hermits who play sims would speak up a little today. chicagog19
The hermits who play the sims ARE speaking up, and they are saying that only those that haven't played The sims would make that assumption (that Home=The sims) Home is like Second Life, not the Sims
Besides why would we whine for? All the consoles have taken stuff from the PC, there is nothing new here.

Sure it is. But instead of just useless stuff you buy with game money you actually earn stuff to show off. All of your achivements and your awards, then all of your stats and whatnot. so much better than The Sims Online.
:lol: I havent played The Sims in ages, however I do agree that Home is so much like The Sims its not even funny. Essentially Sony stole the ideas of IMVU avatar web chat and The Sims and put them into one program.

If you have a really fast 32-Bit CPU, not even dual core, just a 3 GHz and up, along with fast RAM and a nice 15K RPM HDD (SATA or SCSI), The Sims 2 will run like a dream on any PC. This game does not need a lot of GPU...
Can't wait to see what EA does with the Cell processor and The Sims 3. I didn't see it announced for Xbox 360...
