Honest Gamers(Gamerankings.com) gives U2 8.0!

This is the only AA score I have seen on either metacritic or gamerankings. The score is on gamerankings.I can't check the link since it is blocked at work. Does anyone know why they gave it such a low score compared to everyone else? After playing this game I can't see how anyone could give it below a 9.0. I mean who are Honest Gamers? I guess they did this so they could stand out from the crowd and get some hits for their site.

Probably not but they are on gamerankings standing out like a sore thumb. Probably what they wanted to do to get some hits on their site. Isn't the person that runs gamerankings an Adm on this site? Maybe he can answer why he would use such a site that is defintely not known and just comes out so much lower than the other sites.

I've only played a couple games of multiplayer. I'm playing through single player again on Crushing and getting all the treasures. It's just ridiculous fun.

well..alll i can conclude is that, they aren't very Honest at all.

He is? I wouldn't know. It's a shame, but if it is legitimate then it's fair enough.

It is either them or metacritic the cows are always referring to here on system wars, bragging of the metascore and then questioning the site is hypocracy beyond the border of reasonable

I haven't read the review (or played the game for that matter), but I would guess they gave the game an 8.0 because they liked it a lot.

it isnt as easy as simply saying

8.0! lol low score they suck.

you have to see what games they gave a higer score, to compare

maybe they simply are more hard on the reviews then gamespot.

Well Gamespot has a long history of reviews and is used by many people when deciding on purchasing a game since they have been reviewing for so long. Hey I just a little bewildered by this low review. Hey they are opinions so I understand it but this isn't the same as IGN or Gamespot or eve GI giving it 8.0. I have played the game and give it a 9.5 as is a little a too linear at times causing too much trial and error and also I felt some of the gun fights were a little too short for my taste compared to the first one.

Most of the elements of this game come together in fine form, meaning it's an experience you won't want to miss.

The reviewer doesn't seem to dislike the game.

If I could, I'd give it an 8.9. Some of the glitches in the single player are pretty ridiculous. The games not perfect, it's just close.Shattered007

Well for comparison sake this same site gave the first Uncharted an 8.0 also. So the reviewer thought that U2 was no better than the first Uncharted. I wonder what game he was playing.
