Honest question to SW. Do Halo Wars and ODST "get a break" if not AAA?

Serious question. Is it really "ownage" if Halo Wars and ODST dont get AAA?

One is a spinoff and one is an expansion to the real thing......that got a 9.5.

So would it be a "loss" for the Halo fans.....or would it be accepted since they arent like the actual Halo games weve seen so far?

Are either of those on the SW radar? I no think so. Everyone knows Halo Wars will fail. And only halo fans are actually excited about ODST.Ps2stony

Im a halo fan and im looking forward to Halo Wars. I guess it helps since I used to play starcraft back in my day.

Halo Wars is hyped AA tops!

We'll have to wait to see Halo: ODST hype, though.

I think Halo Wars has more leeway then ODST but the hype for ODST isnt in yet so we'll wait and see.

I think HW has about AA hype at most.

Halo Wars kinda reminds me of LOTR: BFME2

That game has some serious issues but was treated nicely (score wise).... being a LOTR fan I personally gave it a break too, I can see halo fans doing the same.

I recommend you try other Console RTS games before you make your judgement. I love PC strategy games, but I despise their console counterparts.

both of these have halo name, are few of the exclusives 360 has and are used as examples of how 360'sw 2009 exclusive lineup is going to be amazing -- so yeah I would certainly use them as ownagenaval

It would be a little embarrasing for the mighty AAA Halo franchise but then again, we don't know what the hype is. I'm guessing the hype is AA for Halo Wars and will be AAA for ODST.Floppy_Jim

Don't know what the hype for these is but imo both should have a shot at AAA.

CnC3 got 8.7 on 360 so no reason Halo Wars couldn't top that, RTS standards aren't that high on 360 yet.

And while usually expansions score a bit lower, games like Dark Avatar, Twilight of the Arnor, Warhead, Burning Crusade and Lich King have proved that an expansion to AAA game can be expected to score AAA as well.
