Honestly- Anyone Have Hope For Transformers?!

Does anyone honestly have any hope for transformers here. I said once before it looks like the arkham asylum of transformers. Maybe it's just me but the game actually looks like it has a ton if polish! The gameplay videos look highly impressive, environments actually look very cool and detailed, graphics are actually pretty good, and the fighting (especially vehicle transfoming) looks pretty bad$&!? . The only problem I can forsee is possibly repetition so far.

Acautious hope, yes. It seems the devs that are makign it, are old school (i hate that term) Transformers fans.

So I think they are not taking the brand too lightly, they seem really enthustiastic about it, and what they say and talk about seems promising.

Ofcourse marketing can fool even the best of us, and when that is said, there still are the question if these devs can make it a good game, even if they wanted to?

But it does indeed look like they have the same kind of care and compassion as the Batman:AA team had, So a cautius hope for a transformers game that might be worth getting, but I wont set myself up to be disapointed, we have been on this road more then a few tiems before afterall...

Atleast it is not the Michael Bay junky version they are making, but the honest to good "transformers" as we know them ^^

I hope it's going to be good. But it's another one of those games that is a little "out there", which means it could either be awesome or fail spectacularly.

i hope its great but im waiting for reviews on june 22. if its good, im definately getting it on day 1. hopefully multiplayer is awesome. autobots vs decepticons team deathmatch will be sweet

I know that, but it's being made specifically as a cash-in as those new movies are popular.

This game is going to be **** for that reason.

It'd be like saying a Spongebob game isn't a cash-in on the show because it's not particularly following any of the episodes. It's still a Spongebob franchise cash-in.

Or how the Avatar video game wasn't specifically following the movie, but instead an extra Avatar experience alongside the movie. That was ALSO a movie cash-in.

i think it has potential but im reserving judgement. i really enjoyed the war within so i was excited to see a new take on that series. the gameplay videos look pretty good. as usual though only time will tell.

It looks pretty mediocre, to be honest. I don't have interest in it. I think it'll score at best a 7.5 or 7.

well its based more upon original transformers material then the movies...so it will likely be good.

I had it until I learned it has forced co-op.

Well, introduce me to these peeps because I thought it would be a great game when I saw it for the first time... and look what happened. Now look at my hype for Transformers ;)

Thats one ok game out of like a dozen others. Arkahm was the real first Majority Critical claimed great batman game me thinks.

These are the same developers who made The Bourne Conspiracy (AA), which was a lot of frickin fun.

I'm liking what I know about it so far. Also, I've heard some good things about the new Pirates of the Caribbean. Jeff G. from Giantbomb was talking about it on the Giantbombcast. Also, the IGN preview had some nice things to say as well.
