honestly eve online is the coolest game ever.

its just to bad that im far to afraid of it to actually play it. But you got to give it to them, the kind of news that comes out of that game is just so much more intresting than in any other game out there. Whether its political assasinations, mass embezzalment, or massive money heists, that game just never siezes to amaze me.

it just sucks that im far to intimadated by it to actually try it out, from what I hear, it has a brutal learning curve. But this kind of stuff just makes me appreciate what a player run gaming world can actually turn into.

LOL, I thought my friend posted this topic...He plays Eve and doesnt shut up about it...From what I can tell and have played, you must invest massive amounts of time into this game to get any reward...I think you literrally have to sit there and do nothing while you learn skills...its fun if you dedicate yourself to it...THis is a good thing for me b/c this guy is going to be rooming w/ me in college and I imagine hell mostly be on there so he wont bother me...wolverine4262

Exactly. I played it for about two months. Even though you can see the "bigger picture" around the horizon, it just a lot of work to be honest. Everyone likes the concept of Eve Online, but not everyone has the patience to make it happen. I fall in that category with the lot of you.

This game requires alot of work but its good at role-playing.

I actually thinks that WWII Online is a cooler idea for a MMO than Eve. Eve is truely unqiue though.
