A few days before I ordered Mass Effect 2, I watched the entire ending online.

Now, even though I have yet to play Red Dead Redemption, I decided to watch the ending anyways.(Personally, I think the ending is somewhat anti-climatic.)

I don't know why, but spoilers have never bothered me. Personally, I just watch the ending to fulfill that innate sense of curiosity. Is the ending good? Is it crap? Sometimes, the curiosity is just too strong to avoid.

Honestly, what's wrong with getting a game's ending spoiled for you? Personally, I don't consider a video gaming experience to be ruined just because someone leaked some spoilers onto you. You still need to experience the entire game firsthand to get the full experience.

Knowing what happens before it happens takes away whatever suspense and excitement you may have for a certain game. Not hard to understand really, and I doubt people give a crap about you not giving a crap.

If you already know how the story is going to unfold how can you enjoy the pacing or turns of the plot? If you don't care for the plot in video games I could understand, but a lot of people do, and for that reason you have to consider other people when you post spoilers.

Honestly, I enjoy the plot nonetheless, even if I have just spoiled myself.

If your excited about a sequel to a movie you love, do you read up on spoilers before seeing it yourself, or a TV series?

Knowing how a game like KoTOR ends make the plot a lot less enjoyable. The ending to ME2 was predictable so it dosn't really affect the experience much, but that's not the case for all games.

Saying the ending is anti-climatic, even if it is an opinion, is somewhat of a spoiler itself. Thanks for ruining part of the game for us and disrespecting our thoughts on spoilers. How do you even know its anti-climatic if you don't know the full context of the story?

This entire topic is blog material, not System Wars worthy.

Because a story has a beginning, middle and end, and oftentimes the ending doesn't make sent without everything that comes before. How can you be sure that an ending is anticlimatic, if you haven't seen the whole story?

If I knew the ending of Uncharted 2 before I even played it, why would I wanna play it? Half the fun is figuring out and seeing how things turn out within the story.

Sometimes watching the ending will not explain the forerunning, so you'll end up being equally as confused.

It's probably the most pointless thing in the world to do.

It depends on the game. Games like ME I can watch the ending because the story was not interesting. Other games like Lost Odyssey hooks you through the game with the story. It makes the game have a bigger impact.
