Dont get me wrong, DS is no GOTY in my book but one of the things it did great was that it beyond doubt brought us the most innovation in online multiplayer.

No more getting stuck on a level since you can just help someone else to learn theyr tactics and the constant tension of knowing that you can get invaded if you stay in one place for too long. The constant intake of visual hints and messages that really give you a community feeling WHILE leaving the sense of depressing isolation in tact (the games atmosphere)

On all grounds it manages to incorporate singleplayer and online seemlessly and they pick KZ2 because it chains together game modes? woot we get to skip loadtimes?

They also picked Killzone because the level designs are fantastic, it lasts dozens of hours and the whole game feels great... I don't think DS can compete in COMPETITIVE muliplayer.

They also picked Killzone because the level designs are fantastic, it lasts dozens of hours with up to 32 players at a time and the whole game feels great... I don't think DS can compete in COMPETITIVE muliplayer.
