Hopefully next gen, MS will

try harder releasing new IPs. MS gave it their all this gen and still came up in last place. Sony won't repeat their same mistakes next gen. MS won't have the breathing room to come as close as they did. I think MS will do better if they rely on more than 3 IPs for exclusives. Its time they create new studios, buying DLC will only get them so far. With Sony fumbling as much as they did this gen, its amazing they made a comeback. I think things will only get harder for MS if they don't give more effort. What do you guys think? Discuss.

im expecting alot of kinect support and for them to continue releasing halo/gears/forza/fable as if thats all they need to keep their corefanbase from buying sony's offering

Hopefully not, I mean its no secret that I prefer Playstation, but I do want MS to be a big player next gen. If Sony doesn't screw up, it'll be hard for MS to repeast their position next gen. Don't understand how a company so rich can fail at delivering remarkable new ips.

They'll probably be investing into a lot of good IP's, and exclusive's for the start of the gen and once they take the lead they'll probably slow it down and just let third parties invest into them.

MS have already opened a number of studios in the last few years which for some reason is never mentioned here. Some of them will probably be for Kinect-only drivel but it's a start.Floppy_Jim

I know they have a company thats supposedly working on the next "Gears" but they need to 86 the sci fi stuff. MS appeals way too much to bro gamers.
