I found gears to be simply unplayable on an SD TV... it basically looks like Im watching a bad broadcast of something in 480I.
How BAD? It doesn't look bad at all...I play 360 on a SD TV and games like Gears of War, DOA4 look amazing. The only downside is that the writings in some games(Dead Rising) are sometimes unreadable. But other than that the graphics are great. See HD doesn't change the graphics, but it changes the quality of the picture, and to be honest, yes the games do look better on HD...SpaceDragonMan

Graphics do not change whether on HD or SD TV's, the only thing that changes is the sharpness of the picture and thats all.

Correct. I'd post pictures myself but things like cameras are useless for me unless i'm travelling ^_^ The difference between HD and SD is basically only the sharpness (visual quality, not graphics) of the picture.

Gears still looks really good in 480i.
Sorry but 360 games on SD still look miles better than Wii games.

He right about the writting tho try playing viva pinata on a regular SDTV it's so hard to read what's on screen. And why did you bash the wii :? we all know the games arent going to look as good so to make that kinda statment is just stupid. :roll:Please Log In to post.
