How can we make SW a better place?

SW has become a cess pool of crap now and we ALL know it, wether we admit it or not it is the truth. This place is no longer about games or having a fun discussion, it's about trolling people or trying to offend them. I honestly am getting completely sick of this place and I would like to change it, so I am asking that we ALL put away our fanboy (yes I know it's hard to do but please try to zip it up) and try to come up with better solutions.

Here are a few of my ideas:

1. Ignore people like LooseENDS and his alts! I cannot understand why people keep giving him attention, he is a loser yes we all know it. It's obvious that everything he says is wrong, there is no reason to point it out. Simply ignore him and treat him like he doesn't exist, this goes for his alts and every other over zealous fanboy on here, regardless of faction.

2. No more sales threads! Unless you are a shareholder then you shouldn't care. I don't think anyone cares if COD sells 3 million more copies on Xbox then it does on PS3. This has nothing to do with games at all, if you want to argue about sales then go join a stock exchange forum and b!tch about it there. I simply do not understand why someone would care about how much money a company makes if they don't recieve a pay check from them. It simply boggels my mind!

3. No more Doomsday threads! No one is going out of business, the world isn't collapsing. Sony, MS, and Nintendo will all be here and be fine. Only a complete and total moron would believe any of these companies are doomed.

4. Let's not get personal. I like to believe we can be more mature about this, it's okay to have some fun with people. But do we really need to take it to such a personal level? Just because your anonymes doesn't mean your an internet tough guy.

5. Ignore obvious troll comments like "360 haz no gamez" or "PS3 exclusives suck" or the like, these are all false and obvious trolls. Just ignore them and they'll die down. Responding to them only give them attention and a reason to keep saying their BS.

I personally am going to be a more balanced poster around here. I'm not a real fanboy but pretending to be one is kind of just as bad as being one. I know I'm not a mod and have no authority but I'm just getting frustrated of how this place has turned out. Old TOU were too strict, but new TOU is just anarchy. Why can there not be some kind of balance? I'm sorry if this upsets the mods, but I thought I had to say this.

The problem with that though is it doesn't solve anything. For one all we would end up doing is just rasing the level to post higher and higher everytime the trolls get to that level. Plus it hurts new users on here who arn't allowed to ask a question or start a discussion because they arn't a high enough level.

And even if they could they would end up getting jumped on by fanboy trolls and get yelled at (again people getting personal in comments like I stated). That isn't a nice experience for a new user and they would probably never come back to GS again.

I say we just ignore people like LoosENDS completely. We should know better around here.

• Sales are the only viable argument available to SW's posters.. Everything else is subjective.. Sony supporters don't talk about sales as much this gen because they are in last place. Last gen.. (and early parts of 2009) were a lot different.

System Wars is just fine, it's not "dying" anytime soon. The ToU change attracted a lot of trolls and for a certain period of time this place was a cesspool. The level 10 requirement changed all that, and now System Wars is fine. I don't see why people believe that users need a high level requirement just to make topics, and a posting level requirement? Come on, that's just community suicide.

System Wars is fine the way it is, period.

SW is fine, bash the game/gamer/system you don't like is the spirit of this place, aside from the awful period we got early this year, SW is now what it's supposed to be, the only thing it really needs, it's your point number 1...seriously, people need to learn to ignore troll threads, it baffles me how guys like LoosingENDS win so easily against the SW comunity.

You don't have to be a mod to make changes. R3FURBISHED made a thread in Site Suggestions to get something done. You can always talk to a mod, we're here even if we aren't posting or you don't see us moderating. We can't make rule changes but we can suggest them to the administrators.
