NO, it actually can't.

yet somehow people believe that consoles have magic power and newer games will look a generation better than older games. You can go that far with optimization. Sure you will see small improvements here and there and over time games will look a bit better but dont expect much Don't ever exaggerate buddy.
Im just calling it how it is, why you so defensive?
Fox xbox360 we have:
Gears Of war 1 (2006 called best gfx on consoles by official reviewer or industry game journalist)
....nothing follows
now for PS3:
Uncharted 1 (2007 called best gfx on consoles by official reviewer or industry game journalist)
MGS4 (2008 called best gfx on consoles by official reviewer or industry game journalist)
Killzone 2 (early 2009 called best gfx on consoles by official reviewer or industry game journalist)
Uncharted 2 (late 2009 again called best gfx on consoles by official reviewer or industry game journalist same year)
GOW3 (2010 called best gfx on consoles by official reviewer or industry game journalist)
you don't have to believe in magic to see the diffrences here, but you might believe in magic if you somehow think the consoles ability is the same with differnt specs and hardware.
You do realize that GT5 also comes out this year and won best gfx award at E3? when PS3 didn't have the best gfx people say Sony dun lied blah blah blah, now that they prove they had the best tech people are all crying making up conspirisy theories talking about magic and such.
Great post. Its not magic when the exclusives just flat out look better on the PS3. I played all of the big huge 360 exclusives Alan Wake, Forza 3, Gears 2 and recently Halo Reach... The PS3 exclusive games like God of War 3, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 just flat out look better, sound better and seem to have higher quality production values and i won't dare hide like a coward behind the word "opinion" im a real gamer i tell it like it is and it hurts people's feelings on SW but oh well lol.
