How did Assassins Creed get a 9.0?

This game is crap. Its AI is downright dumb (360 version at least...I'd hate to even touch the PS3 version...). The graphics are nothing special, sure they look good, but there are better looking games on consoles. The game is very repetative. The combat is meh...wtf? I'm attacked by 5 guards...but fight them 1 on 1.

How exactly is this AAA material?

If this game got AAA, Mass Effect should have gotten AAAA

Originality is great...but when u take a great concept...and completley **** it up...is it still great?

Rated it a 9.0 myself too.

It's simply not for everyone.

Yup, i agree, i got both games when they came out and Mass Effect is SOOOO much better.

Assassins Creed is a great game... get over it. If you don't like it don't play it.

Story is great!

Visuals are great!

Combat is fun.

and free running across cities was AMAZING!

Voice Acting was top notch.

The only downside was not enough variety in the missions & poor AI
