Depends on the game...for instance I don't exactly look for a night of "relaxation" in playing Dead Space on Impossible...But with something like Lost Odessey I could sit back and melt into the couch for hours.
Reading the posts in this thread is kinda funny. I always laugh at the guys who play Racing games and move the controller as if its going to help them turn. Or the guys who play FPS's and lean and rock..really animated. Funny. I consider myself a hardcore gamer, but I just have a real ill skill set. I bust azz in anygame I play without a great deal of effort.
The games I play aren't usually intense or frenetic, so I just lay back and get comfortable. Tomb Raider, Uncharted, GTAIV, a whole host of adventure games etc, they're not CoD 4, so I just sit back and relax. With certain racing games I lean up a bit more because for me it requires the utmost concentration. Perhaps the most intense I get though is in FIFA 09. All my mates play seriously and so do I. We're nothing but professionals at that game :P
I usually lie back when playing games. The only time I'll sit up is when I'm really, really frustrated or mad at a game. That seemed to happen a lot when playing Ninja Gaiden...
