How do you think the Ps3 is doing now?

As we ALL know, Ps3 had a very rocky start. But, things seem to be getting better for the ps3. But I am curious, what do you guys think?Since I seem to not be able to make a poll, I'll put the options here.

A) Its doing great, even better then the 360 now

B) Its doing good, on par with the other consoles.

C) Its doing ok, but not fantastic or anything.

D) Its still doing bad, no where near the other consoles (or the 360)

E) Its utter trash, the ps3 will fail anytime soon.

F) Other

I am truly in shock at everyone choosing B. The PS3 is not doing well. It's not even profitable yet. It's currently sony's black eye. It goes to show you that people really only see what they want to see.

A good console isnt good because it made a company money. So sony could sell consoles it made the price lower then the cost to make it to push the hardware the PS3 had a rough start but is now getting better

The PS3 is doing just fine and it's getting better all the time.

and these Are? so Your Basically saying that ps3 lost some exclusives that its not good? You do know there's plenty of 1st party quality Games You Know...

SCE made $51 million profit for Q1... they plan on making a profit for the fiscal year ending 31st March 09 aswell...

PS3 is currently outselling 360 on a world-wide basis ...

PS3 is finally getting some good AAA excluisves and AAAA exclusives like MGS4, LBP, Resistance 2, etc.

I honestly believe that it is on par with the other consoles, according to the offerings which appeal to me.

well you can chat on psn alot of people wont talk back but you can talk all you want into a bluetooth most ppl will hear you thru their tv speakers.

But as for the op i say

B its getting a lot better and currently beating the 360. This gen is going to really get good i think starting this fall after that its an all out war.

Well, it cannot be that bad as it outsold the 360 worldwide last year and is outselling it almost every month so far this year as well. Not bad considering the head start and US market saturation that MS had enjoyed. I am not knocking the 360 as I totally respect its great library and huge fanbase, but geez...to say the PS3 is not doing well is outright ignorant.

I'm going with C for now. might change it to B after the holiday season.

The ps3 is doing allright, but not as good as 360 imo

This year PS3 is doing fine... multiplats are of equal quality, sometimes slightly better... great games (exclusives) release with most of them being released later on this year... Online is better and it offers a solid service for free...

Its still has to do alot of catching up in terms of sales, but as a gamer my concern are games, and this year there have been some great titles released while others are on the way later on this year..

Wow. And you used to be such a hardcore sony fan.

The PS3 is doing fine. It's price point is better all things considered. It's sales are increasing and has past the 360 in Europe (nothing needs to be said about Japan).

On the games front it has a great holiday season coming up. Sony has lost a few 3rd party exclusives but I believe it's 1st/2nd party developers will make up for that since Sony has stepped it up on that end. The PS3's biggest problem is still the long development cycles needed for it's major exclusives.
