We all know MS will use E3 to peddle their shit, like Xbox 4, Game Pass, xCloud, and their studio acquisitions, and whole industry will be there to write about it cause it's still the most traditional way to do things. Then they'll do their Inside Xbox on monthly'ish basis and This Week On Xbox to continue the feed to fans.
What will Sony do, when they've ditched all conferences, fan events and have opted for State of Play and their continued old school blog? Even very recently Sony skipped E3 for hardware announcements to do a live event, like they did in Sept 2016 to announce the Pro and Slim, do you think they will do something like that, or do you think they'll just use these State of Play pre-recorded to announce hardware?
Even Nintendo who mostly does Directs announced the Switch via a live conference with pre-recordered stuff inserted throughout.
Funny that everything you're suggesting MS will use to "hype" Anaconda/Lockheart is everything but "traditional".
lol what will sony use to hype?
Sony will actually show AAA next gen GAMES!
Sony will simply offer a true next gen gaming console, 1 sku, with exclusives built ground up for that console that blow everything else this generation out of the water. Simple!
Add in 100% BC will all PS4 titles plus exclusive VR support and capability and there you have it.
Why do you xbox fans think those corporate gimmicks MS uses to reel you non-gamers into their ecosystem matters to actual gamers? If people wanted generic dollar menu gaming options they all convert to PC. Xbox offers nothing for console gamers other than buyers remorse.
Your "hype" for Xbox4 = the same thing MS has been using to hype xbox one since 2014. Here's how that panned out!
2014 - 2019
PS4 HD AAA exclusive games >>>>>> Xbox GASS, SAD and gamepass
2017 - 2019
Switch classic AAA quality exclusives >>>> Xbox 4k, failed Promises and studios
