Games like Gears 2 or Modern Warfare 2 when you get killed constantly you start to go "UGHHH" then some will start to cuss and then start throwing things etc. Anyway whats the craziest thing you have done to show your frustation and what game was it?

Me, when I was like 7-9 during the PS2 era playing Dragonball Z (Fighting game for those who don't know) I was stuck on a fight for weeks and I was really close this one time, it was one hit for him and one hit for me till KO and I accidently taunted and got owned, I cussed, slammed the controller on to the slim ps2 constantly, breaking the game inside as well as the controller and the slim ps2, I missed great titles for the rest of that gen :| never touched my GC or XBOX ,had to stick with my GB SP :P

My friend was playing Final Fantasy 10 the chocobo race, he destroyed the controller, by smashing it into the ground about 6 times.

I am mean destroyed not enough to put it back together.

Wow, TC just put even my most out-of-control rage to shame. But when I was ~13, I broke a window (not entirely because of a game, but it set the mood).

Besides the obvious EXTREME CURSING FREAK OUTS I had in the Halo 2 era, the only thing I ever broke was a really nice set of headphones I had bought. I was playing Morrowind, and I jumped up yelling at one point with the head phone wire under my foot, which snapped in two. I don't remember what I was angry at, but we'll say I was being attacked by a flock cliff racers :P

When I was playing The Force Unleashed and I was fighting Vader, and I kept dying, I screamed the S word so loudly at one point my dad stormed in my room and told me to shut up and turn off the game. I've also been driven to tears many times playing Jak 2 when I was younger. That game is still really damn hard... :x

When I couldn't get a time puzzle in PoP:The Sands of Time right, I bit the controller. My poor Dual Shock 2 still has the bite marks to prove it.

Controllers broken mostly. but the Worst was when I beat Final Fantasy 7. I had pre ordered it and got it at launch day took me about a total of 30-40 hours to beat it, got to the ending and thusly took the 3rd disc out and broke it. I had never been so disapointed in a games story or ending, Mind you If you've only ever played ff7 ps1 logically the only answer to the ending is that humanity dies the planet decides to kill us off, I'll likely get a bunch of people saying thats not true and then all these reasons but it is true the entire game explains it to you over time and Bunhagen literally tells it to you.

Which is one of the reasons I hate the sequel stuff they never intended on having that stuff but the game was so successful *I don't know why it was* they invented sequel stuff.

I took the game to ebgames or disc 1 and 2 and sold em which they let me do back then. I later picked the game up as greatest hits and played through it a couple of more times mastering it so I could get a 20-30 hour low level playthrough *the game is inanely easy*

Most serious levels of frustration ever have happened in MMO's due to server lag or something similar. Those situations where you die in UO because the server craps out and lose months worth of stuff. I have certainly yelled out obscenities pretty loudly, but it's cathartic for me. I can be totally calm right after I scream out an expletive. It's like a valve that releases some pressure. Apparently I will live longer than most because I don't bottle it up, Works for me as a justification, so I'm all over it. ;) Now I have something called a BOB (Body Opponent Bag) which is basically a combo dummy if you have played Fight Night and done the training. He sits in my basement, and if anything happens in a game that chaps my hindquarters, I promptly stand up and deliver unto BOB a most severe and heinous beating. It's a bit expensive, but it's great for dealing with frustration.

That boss made me want to throw my controller out of the window.

Gamecube, about 10 years old. Got really pissed and threw the Wavebird controller at the wall pretty hard. By some miracle the Wavebird came out of it with only a tiny scratch and worked perfectly.... the wall was not so lucky :P. Had a fat dent in it until we remodeled my room last year.

Unrelated to the game, but there was a long silence in a TF2 game and somebody, out of nowhere, spoiled the end of Heavy Rain for everyone ("...is the Origami Killer"). I dug my fingers under like 10 keys on my keyboard and threw them at the wall. ...Yeah...

I shout and swear like a trooper Maybe give my bed a small whack But I've never broken anything in gaming rage, it costs too much, a new controller due to lack of control or some cash to put toward new games because I exercised some self control

Yelling in a furious rage but that was soooo long ago when I was like 14. Then I realised it wasn't helping me any. The console and PC didn't care.

Frustration and rage occured to me when I played NFS Most Wanted (AI drivers that catch up to you obscenely fast and end up beating you, forcing you to restart the race OR police chases that go so well and end with me getting busted because my car got stuck in geometry). Also a couple of COD 4 levels made me swear a lot as well because you are pitted against impossible odds and somehow are expected to prevail against them when your AI buddies don't do anything.

Hmm, Halo 2 had some major frustrations back in my day from time to time. Other then that, I do recall playing Mass Effect 1 and getting my ass whooped over and over again by the Matriarch boss section.

On top of that, Ninja Gaiden Black. Nuff said.

Well, when I was younger and I played games like Sonic Adventure 2... Man, when I losed because I was going to get an A and for some reason I failed by some cheap trick I always threw the controller and started yelling of anger. Now that doesn't happen but if someone uses cheap tricks on an online game then I may sometimes swear alot.

I've never have gotten mad at a multiplayer game because if you keep getting killed, whatever. You're worse than the person you're playing. Who cares?

I've gotten mad a few times at single player games. The reason why they piss me off is because when boss fights or the level is that hard, it pisses me off that someone (The developer) actually sat at a computer and was like, "Hey! I'm going to make this boss so hard!!! Hehehe!"

And the thing that pisses me off the most is getting stun-locked, or not being able to do anything. You get knocked down once, and keep getting knocked down until you die.

These are all the times I've gotten mad at a game:

1. SSX Tricky (PS2) - I was like in 5th grade I guess. I remember not being able to beat a level, I threw the controller and a button broke. That was the first time I ever got mad at a game, and learn my lesson not to break stuff.

2. Banjo Tooie (N64) - I played it again last year, and I was trying to kill this boss in Grunty's Industries. My controller kept bugging out, so I got PISSED. Also, no one was home, so I went all out. If someone was home, I would have just turned the game off and went to bed. I just was screaming a lot. I didn't break anything.

3. Assassin's Creed (PC) - The game was so easy, except for the second to last assassination (If I remember right). I couldn't do it for like 3 times, then I got pissed. I remember hitting the controller on my head a good amount of times. Then I beat it the try after.

4. No More Heroes 2 (Wii) - I was doing one of the last bosses, and it turns out I was doing it wrong. I didn't realize you could roll, and without that, the boss is IMPOSSIBLE. So I did the boss three times, and died all three times. I seriously could NOT be more calm. Then I lost again, got pissed. Just hit the controller on my head once or twice, gave myself a good dead-leg then turned the game off.

Then I looked up how to do the boss fight and it was pretty easy.

Besides those times, I really haven't gotten mad at a video game.

After I (plus several others) got owned by my nephews and friends, I got ticked off and managed to wreck my CH rudder pedals. There went $150. I felt like a heel afterwards.

While playing Final Fantasy 12, during one of the elite bounty quests, (I think it was a variation of the Hell Wyrm). I was literally fighting it for almost 12 hours straight, (was a weekend), got it down to about 2 bars of health left (1 bar = 1mil HP, I think it had something like 24 bars), before it decided to heal itself almost completely. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil. Also, 2 words: Ninja Gaiden.

I have a box full of broken controllers just for the PS3 alone, I broke a few PS2 controllers aswell, but they were easier to fix.

I once threw my controller into my speaker destroying one of the woofers, I was not happy after that. It's usually because of Fifa games, so I have destroyed several Fifa discs as well, including the latest game, Fifa 10:p. So now I'm on a break from Fifa games, and no controllers are getting crushed.

But games that also irritates me quite alot, are those that has long periodes between checkpoints. "The Getaway" comes to mind. I remember having to drive for 15 minutes before getting to the mission. I was really tired of that drive after dying a couple of times.....man I was pissed.

I curse most of the time in COD...to set the mood. I did kick my PS3 during one match though. However the last time I properly got angry was maybe when a console stopped working. I smashed it on every wall and punched it a good 5-6 times. Funnily I still checked to see if it worked.

Worst would be destroying two wired 360 headsets. Once I snapped the head fitting (always the first thing I'd do), I'd just deconstruct the thing completely for the heck of it.

I have rage-cussed quiet a few times since my SNES days (getting progressively worse as I grew up) but the first and only time I actually broke something out of rage was this gen. Got pretty pissed during a MW2 TDM that involved not only boosters but glitchers as well like two months ago and it resulted with me breaking my PS3's headset (which was one that I originally bought for my 360 but worked with my PS3 as well with a usb-adapter). I got lucky because since Christmas was right around the corner, I just asked for the official Sony headset. Only problem is I'm stuck without a 360 headset now >_>.

Soul Caliber 4 angered me like a furious wolf. I was in the tower challenge, and right when I was fighting the last person in the floor and about to win, the power goes off for a few seconds and comes back. I threw the controller at the kitchen accidentally knocking down nearly 10 stacked plates.

It was in 2005 when I was playing my new PS2. I was playing Burnout 3 time attack I think. I crashed a lot of times and couldn't beat the time. Then I decide to turn off the console. When I got up the controllers wire was got tangled with my foot. I was soo mad I made a 180 spin and literally disconnected the controller from the console. Now when playing my 360 and PS3 I only just curse at the game. But sometimes I do feel like throwing my controller at my LCD. But never actually did it.

I have only had one controller throwing incident and of course, damage was done. The controller wound up hitting the top of the console (PS1) and the disc spinning inside got a massive scratch on it, causing the game to freeze and become unplayable. ;_;

Now I just whisper out the odd curse; there are others in the house.

I was playing Terminator Salvation (I rented it for easy trophies, I feel ashamed:() and I was getting so frustrated on every single enemy. I was facing these spider type things which could only be killed by shooting them in the back. The problem is they constantly watch you and the your stupid-AI teammates don't distract them at all. I had to run around in circles until I finally got a shot at the back and just keep repeating this until it died. There was like 10 in the level and it didn't help that the recharging health seemed to randomly recharge. Sometimes it would recharge and other times it wouldn't, even when no enemies were around.
