How is it possible the ds outsold the psp?

How the heck is it possible that the nintendo ds has outsold the sony psp? I have always heard how much the ds sucks. It doesn't make sense.hotsauceyguy

2. Female appeal (it is said that roughly 45% of the owners are female )

3. Some people feel they must train their brains or they will lose them.

4. Cool Redesign (lots of trade-in sales too)

5. Huge Nintendo following in the handheld market (gba is still selling too)

6. Touch screen , good battery , durable for kids

7. Multiple system sellers (nintendogs , brain training games , mario games , pokemon , etc ) 

The PSP is the opposite  :shock:

I m not just listening to sony fanboys. I have played both systems. the ds is like a gameboy one crack. while the psp has games like gta and untold legends.

The better console will always sell more in the long run, i remember PSP sales were higher than the DS's in every market until 2005.

I'll post the PSP's list.

1. Expensive.

2. Practically everyone playing it is male.

3. Most people that play it don't care about their brains.

4. No redisign (when it needs one more than the DS did).

5. It's Sony's first foray into handhelds.

6. No touch screen, 3-minute battery life, not so durable because the huge screen cracks and scratches so easily.

7. MGS: PO and Lumines are the only big system sellers.

8. Is FRIGGIN HUGE.

DS appeals to more people. I feel they have more fun games, and more games that interest me. It's not that PSP is a bad handheld, it's that it's barely a handheld. It's a multimedia player and a mini ps2 player with the same games. I have my iPod for multimedia.
