How is System Wars liking Demon's Souls?

NAPK1NS thinks it's incredible. The game hates me and in return I hate it right back.

I appreciate how challenging the game is, honestly. It gives a much deeper sense of satisfaction then pretty much any other game I have played this year (or in the past two years). The feeling of jamming your sword through the guy who just killed you earlier is practically gaming euphoria, and the game is unbelievably deep. And plus, the Deluxe Edition is really shiny. And I like shiny stuff.

How is everyone else enjoying/hating it? :D

Ugh, can't wait to get my copy on Saturday. Eager to throw a fit of frustration.

Theres been a lot of hype from cows about this game. Not sure how you missed all that enough to start your own thread. But if you want to discuss it, theres a dedicated forum for it.

I personnally haven't tried it yet but plan on renting it from gamefly soon.

I just beat the first boss of StoneFang and Im starting to feel the heat. Its getting really difficult.

I might die. This is my most hyped game, has been ever since it was released. And i cant play it till Nov7. Im dont have any money and the 7th is my birthday.

I want to play it so bad, and all my other games seem like crap now. So ive been bored out of my mind lately, and school seems like an eternity

i still have to beat 1-1, but from what i have seen, this looks awesome. my deluxe edition is sitting nicely next yo my ps3 right now i was wondering tho, ive been noticing some blood stains in Nexus. how do u die in that place anyway? and what happens if you die there?funsohng

Most people just commit suicide from huge falls there.

Not sure what happens when you die there though.

And yes siLVUR, a super asian such as yourself will breeze through this game as if it were Super Mario World. Lucky ass....

Just walk the stairs up high enough that you die when jump down...

The good about doing this is that when die in body from you get to soulform, in soul form you dont change the world tenacy when you die.

When you die it only change the world you die in thats why people kill them self in Nexus.

Demon's Souls is awesome. I'm at soul level 104 and almost done with my first playthrough :)

Haven't played but 20 minutes, so the verdicts still not in. The combat is enjoyable so far though.

Yeah, 1-2 can be rough when coming straight from 1-1. I mean i could beat it with help (someone to distract the boss) but not on my own at that level. I would say its best to go straight to 2-1, its what i did.

Im pretty deep in and im loving it more and more although i have to say, for me it seems as if the game gets easier and easier. But im guessing thats just down to me getting a better grip of the DS world and levelling up.

I have the Deluxe Edition sitting there in its packaging. I have not opened it because I am saving this one for Christmas. It looks amazing and I'm dying to play it but I'm holding out for UC2 to distract me for the next couple of months before Christmas.

It's friggin awsome. But seriously, it's not THAT hard. I mean you are going to die but it's definatly not as hard as some of the 8-bit games of yester year.

Castlevania, Ninja gaiden, Rygar, Legendary wings, all were much more of a challenge. Of course I'm comparing apples to oranges but I love the challenge!

In this day and age of holding your'e hand and no penalty for death this game is a breath of fresh air in the stale overdone world of current gen video games.

Best game I have played this year. I have had only two issues with the game(falling animation and lock on system) and the rest has been amazing. Just beat the archdemon in the burrow, game is about to get even harder.

Man, you guys are far. I have only killed the first boss and I'm about to own the Tower Knight. I found out a war to destroy him with a bow. :DNAPK1NS

F*** that. Do what I did and go right in front of him with your sword, it is much more rewarding when you kill him.

i am loving this game. the only problem is when i play it i end up losing all track of time and end up playing the game for hours. lol

I really want this game but it has no Euro release, damn it I hope it gets a confirmed release in Europe before the end of the year. I love games that kick my ass, makes me better as a gamer.Swift_Boss_A

LOL true the boss i have a hard time finishing is flame lurker. specially when that thing goes berserk LOL

I beat 1-2 tonight finally, went into it straight from 1-1. My stats were way too low I think. Took me all day, literally, I started playing around 1 pm, and finally downed the Knight around 9 pm LMAO. I'm tellin you, that was the hardest damn level of any game I've ever played. My stats were pretty low, I hadn't leveled hardly anything up yet, which is probably why I died about 345 times.:x One thing's for sure though, I used to love fire-breathing dragons....................not anymore.

This is the hardest game I've played to date. And I've been gaming since the 2600.. well, lets exclude asinine games like Battletoads and Ninja Gaiden (NES)zero_snake99
