How long are sheep willing to wait till Wii is taken seriously?

Every1 thought DS would be eaten by PSP.

Now that it has sold beyond 70mil it get everything. COD4, AC + shed load of "nex gen" games.

However, those games never come to Wii. So do I have to wait till Wii hits 70 mill b4 I get any decent third party games? Do I have to become a Cow (and play the waiting game)?

Let's just ignore the fact that it got 2 AAAes already this year, whereas the PS3 and 360 didn't get one. Yes, the Wii needs stronger 3rd party support but it's already increasing (Okami = AAA, most recent example) and if sales continue to increase (which they will), devs will be forced to take notice.

Hope it does! I'm not too concerned about many of the big companies that much as many have become god awful and have not produced anything special since the PS2 era! I hope the surge of small developers who will come to the Wii hopefully will bring some freshness which has made gaming abit stagment as of recent.

I thought that too i thought the DS would get wiped out off the face of this earth. The DS is great, developers really put some hard work into its hardware with a lot of original games. And its consistency to release great games is such a plus for DS owners whereas PSP owners have to wait months for such titles.

But when people thought the PSP would kill the DS we had thought in hardware, titles, on top of that all the downloadable content. But when we compare the DS and the Wii the sales for the DS is worthy of its praise but the wii is not so much. The wii has about only 6 great titles.

I think this gen wii is much like the PSP you have to wait for great titles. Its shovelware being released is horrible and you can blame Ubisoft.

i suggest RE4 wii edition its a great game.

perhaps get all three Metroid Primes and beat them 100% sounds fun.

Brawl online is a lota fun.

You are the kind of people I absolutely hate in System Wars when it comes to Wii, you have 3 games, 1 of which is free and is more a tech demo than a game, one of which is an fitness application and not a game, and another which is a crappy minigame compilation, you have none of the amazing Wii games like Galaxy, Brawl, MP3, Okami, Pro Evo '08, Godfather, Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes, Boom Blox, Mario Kart, GH3, yet you dismiss the Wii as kiddy. The only reason you find it kiddy is because you made bad buying choices, you bought crap games, you only have yourself to blame. And if you say you don't want any of those games on the list you're either a lier, or you shouldn't have bought a Wii in the first place.

Pro Evolution 2008 is proof that if a developer isnn't a lazy sod and actually tries they can make a superior multiplat for Wii. So don't go giving me "All multiplats on Wii would suck no matter what they did!!" style BS.

Capcom. After the success of the Phoenix Wright remakes, they gave in to the fans demanding a fourth, new Ace Attorney game.

Square-Enix is also taking it quite seriously with The World Ends With You and Dragon Quest IX.

quick buck @ 70 mil. lolz. although i see what you mean. their 1st party DS titles haven't got that nintendo greatness which we all love about them. except for maybe phantom hourglass. as for the wii i can assure you that MS and sony are taking it very seriously indeed.

It depends on how seriously people view consoles.

That said, I don't think Nintendo did a good job with the Wii. Motion sensing up to this point has been largely gimmicky, and the system is buried under shovel-ware.

I think the third party support has gotten a lot better recently. I mean, Monster Hunter 3 was moved from PS3 to Wii! On top of that, we have Deadly Creatures, Skate It, King's Story, Tales of Symphonia 2, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles 2, Sky Crawlers, and a heck of a lot more coming out. We also have first party Nintendo titles to look forward, too. I don't know if they are first or second party, but Fatal Frame IV and Disaster: Day of Crisis looks damn good.

Listen, if you don't like Wii, that's cool. Personally, I find the Wii the best system this generation because it offers the most fresh and original experience of them all. Nintendo's first party titles are more than enough to hold me over. The third party titles are just extras.

Also, No More Heroes was so much freaking fun!

CoD4 maybe buthats only for the SP. The wii is taken seriously because of the amount of amazing titles on it and the fact that it already has 1st party AAAE 3rd party AAAE and a GOTY.

There are great games for the wii but come on 3rd Parties, you see developers like Plantinum Games trying to make a good game for the wii and you see High Voltage trying to make a good game for the wii. We seen good 3rd party games like NMH, Zack and Wiki, etc...., Nintendo we see you making great games for the wii, but you guys have to start thinking because the majority of wii owners are hardcore owners:

You need to stop developers like Ubisoft and start telling them to take the wii seriously and not release games just for a quick buck, they need to realize that people are going to stop buying there games.

Add Konami in there and you have three of the biggest DS third party supporters :o And yea, Konami's taking it seriously. Not to mention Treasure, Eidos, Atlus and Activision are in the line of 'serious' devs as well.

I think the Wii will get more 3rd party titles/exclusives as the years go by; with any luck, exclusives like Madworld will sell well and oher devs will follow Platinum's lead. If not, I can't see Ninty support making fanboys taking the Wii seriously, even with SMG and friends :|

Guitar hero is better on 360. Medal of honor is a psp port (though, it's still good). elebits was decent and ssx just flopped.

No More Heroes is my AAA third party exclusive game. It was sooooo great I played the game until my arms fall of from swinging. Great story, totally kick ass plot and amazing combat with excelent use of Wiimote.
