do you buy one game at a time or say multiple games, or does one game last you a while.

I buy one game at a time and it usually lasts about 2 weeks. Then I get bored of it and put it on my shelf to collect dust.

Depends on the game: Gears of War lasted me like 3 days then 2 or so weeks for MP. A game like Medieval 2 Total War though, lasted me like 2 months.

Depends on the game.

I played Republic Commando for about 12 hours. I have played Gran Turismo 3 for probably more than 500.

I buy whatever games I think look nice as they come out, whether or not I have time to play them at that moment. Sometime later I know I'll get to them.

Depends on how long the game is, and what it's replay value is. Online multiplayer or new modes after beating the game usually make the game last longer.

Well I dunno if you mean the lasting power. For example ; Starcraft, that is still lasting for almost a decade. Sometimes one game, sometimes a spur of them.. If I want it, I will most likely buy it.

It varies from game to game, but I'll usually play, on average, one game for around 60 hours before I give it up.  There are exceptions, of course.

Depends... A game I really like, such as Fire Emblem: PoR and Resident Evil 4 lasted me well over 100 hours. A game I sort of enjoy and just want to beat like Zelda lasted me about 50. and games that aren't that exciting to me like Warioware about 5. Eventually they all end up in a container until I ever consider playing them again. (I don't trade games in... ever)

Multiple YEARS.  I got far in metroid prime 2 and stopped playing it, i'll pick it back up some time.  And i got the GC version of Twillight princess.  I played about 3/4ths of the game and stopped, but i'll start playing it again when i feel like it.

As for games i play now, its mostly warcraft3, Starcraft, CVS2, Guilty Gear.  Those games have been out for multiple years, and i'm still playing them almost every day.

As for new games, they all suck right now, i'm waiting for something worth buying.

Depends. If I buy a game rather soon after it comes out (i.e. at or near full price) it tends to last me a while as I play through it all the way. If I pick it up cheap used (i.e. under $15) I won't play it through all the way with the same determination, unless it really sinks its claws into me, like Metroid Prime or Advent Rising.

Depends on the game.  Ratchet and Clank, Okami and Pokemon:  Sapphire lasted me well over one-hundred hours, while games like Daxter only lasted me 20.

Well usually a game will last me a month or two because I play in short bursts. Take Sonic and the Secret Rings for example. I like the game but I just don't play a lot. Now games like SSBM, Halo, or even Starfox still have me playing even now.

Most games usually last me 2 to 4 weeks, then I never look at
them again (for the most part). Every once in a while though, I'll get
a game like Oblivion or GTA that will last me for a couple of months .
I only play one game at a time, once I start another I am not
likely to go back to the previous one.

It honestly depends on how good the online is, I played Halo 2 for about a year and a half.  Now the game I played the most in my life, is Starcraft.  I played that everday, for like two hours a day, for 3 years.  I'm not even kidding, I was addicted.  That was when I was like 10 though, and had no commitments and I could just game.  The only breaks I took was for family vacation, and I missed it severely..

i can't imagine. i would probably have a lot more fun w/ resistance than gears, because gears is so monotonously repetetive.

its all about the title. Some games I play only for a little bit or once through and are bored with it like Tony Hawk games. I gotta love 'em but they get really repetitive after a while, and Madden, most sports games, and Battlefront, and just common shooters, the list can go on. Then there are games that last me a long time on consoles like Zelda (still play through Ocarina every once and a while, godddd I love that game, I wish i could get that same feeling from another game that I got from Ocarina when I first beat it...wow i love that game), and Knights of the Old Republic and games like that. Sooner or later those games get kind of repetitive, but then there are those games that always last like The Sims, still play the priginal and the second, idk why but i still like playin the original, and Diablo 2, wow i love that game, I just played it last night, that game is seriously one of THE best ever made IMO. And I only buy one game at a time, beat it, then buy another.

One at a time. Even a game like Marvel for the Xbox360 lasted me a good month. (Yeah, I cheated too :D) Currently playing Oblivion for the PS3. Have about 2 weeks put into it and I haven't even started the main quest yet :)

Depends on the game. Animal Crossing is still going for me, and Starcraft for about a decade. But then there are the less epic games, like Kingdom Hearts, which'll last me a good month or two. And then there are those not epic at all games like Gears which will last me for about a week, but then a month on MP.

If it's a sports game and it's good, it can last for years. It all depends on the type of game really.
