I say a couple months and you may see some people patch older games to give them trophy support, but other than that not until next year for a lot of third party games.

Warhawk and Pain will be getting trophy support. I think Pain a ways before Warhawk though

Sony gave us a list for confirmed trophy compatible games:

• BUZZ! Quiz TV
• LittleBigPlanet
• MotorStorm Pacific Rift
• NBA 09
• PAIN
• PixelJunk Eden
• Resistance 2
• SOCOM: Confrontation
• Super Stardust HD
• Warhawk

There's three games that's out now, SSHD, PAIN, and Warhawk, but only SSHD have trophies. I think if PAIN and Warhawk doesn't have trophies by the end of this E3 month, than that would be too long.

Also I'm not sure when BUZZ! Quiz TV, NBA 09, and PixelJunk Eden comes out, but if they come out and not trophy compatible, than you can say that's too long.

Same goes for LBP, MotorStorm PR, Resistance 2, and Socom. If they don't have trophies from the get go and you have to wait for a patch, then it's safe to say that trophies was a failure to launch.

Sony gave us a list to confirmed trophy compatible games. So if these games don't have trophies by 3 to 6 months, than that's too long, and is a failure.

Yeah he has no idea what he's talking about. Here are the only confirmed games with trophies announced:

SSHD,Warhawk, PAIN are the only PSN titles out now but only SSHD have trophies. You just gotta wait till the other confirmed trophy compatible games are patched. And a month for those confirmed games is too long.

The sad part about this is that the wait is just building my anticipation. The longer the wait the higher the expectations and the bigger the dissapointment when there are too few games from the get-go.roc321

Define "straightened out". In my eyes, straightened out is when all games, old and new, support them. In that respect, it will never be straightened out.

At best, it will be at least a year before games consistently support it. Even then, I'm betting there will be an odd game here and there that won't have 'em. In the FAQ on the Playstation blog, the most they could say was that there were working with devs to encourage support for the trophies. That is NOT a declaration of it being mandatory.

Super Stardust has support and they are working on supporting 1st party games. Its up to 3rd party developers whether or not they want to make a patch and release trophies. Most will not.

Even most 1st party will not get patches. Hopefully Ratchet and Resistance will after R2 is done.

Kind of sad cause Sony said that to add trophies in a game takes just half a days worth of work to implement.

but anyway, I want trophy support for the games I allready have:( I'd love to see trophies for Ninja gaiden sigma, MGS4 and Uncharted.

I am still surprised that MGS4 did not support trophies from the start....Sony had to of gave them the 411 on what updates they were going to make...and being Sony's biggest hitter..seemed like a slam dunk...masiisam

perhaps, without the update, ps3's wouldnt know what to do with that data, and errors would occur
