How long until Skyrims hype dies & people start hating on it like Oblivion?

I say 3 months. Here's the time table of Skyrims hype:

First few hours.YAY SKYRIM MAN THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME:

15 hours into the game, games good man:

40 hours into the game, "there sure is alot of Fed Ex fetch quests"

After finishing the main quest, "eh, was cool I guess"

3 months later, "Man Skyrim was disappointing. Laughable story and dialog, crap ton of bugs, tons of fetch quest and assassin quests, contradictions to previous Elder Scroll games, mediocre lore, just meh".

6 months later whenever someone talks about it, "Skyrim was garbage, worse than Oblivion! Dumbed down peice of consolized crap. CDProjekt ftw!"

Never liked Oblivion

Skyrim > Morrowind > Every other ES > Oblivion

The thing is Skyrim is a good game Oblivion was a bad game from the start.

yeah people were hating on it months ago...infact hating on it at announcement of the game.

People who didn't like Oblivion didn't like it from the beginning. Same will apply to Skyrim. mrmusicman247

Yea I remember the feud of what was better Two Worlds vs Oblivion and Morrowind vs Oblivion

Was apart of the Morrowind vs Oblivion, I lost faith in Bethesda after Oblivion and Fallout NV, Skyrim has re sparked my love for them.

Are you seriously joking with the game of the century comment.Skyward Sword can't be really compared to Skyrim because they both come from different genres.

I don't think that will happen, atleast not to the extent of hatred that Oblivion gets. I've heard positive things said about Skyrim from just about everyone, including from people who disliked Oblivion. Seems like Beth got it right this time around.
