How many FPS's are superior to Halo?

Killzone, Metro, Battlefield, Resistance, Bulletstorm, Red Orchestra 2, ARMA and many more have detroned Halo (even Medal of Honor and COD tbh), yet there are many Bots out there whom hold on to this overrated fake exclusive. (was also on PC, on my Phone as well) Why is that?

In my last thread, I specifically said Killzone was better than Halo. Fact.

Larger scale, better graphics, more frantic pace in multiplayer, better guns, better hand to hand combat, has stealth gameplay and better perks. Killzone requires actual skill. Facts. So again, why is Halo said to be "duhhhhhhhh best FPS ebber" when it's not?

Everyone should have a look at @XboxStache meltdown

They're all mostly monotonous to me.

Most of the ones I've played. the only aspect of Halo I find enjoyable is Forge and the vehicles. I find the actual shooting to be severely lacking for some reason. Maybe I'm missing something, but it doesn't feel like any gun except the rocket launcher has any power behind it.

Finally, a person of intelligence.

Besides, Halo ripped off games like Tribes.

Halo is the best. Sticky grenade.

TC must be sitting at home with no job or nothing to do lol. But on topic there really aren't many FPS that are that much better than Halo. I did like Crisis 2, and Team Fortress 2 better but that is about it.

It all depends when you started play FPS games and what you played them on.........to me Halo is a good game but very very Avergae.

Im not a huge fan of fps games anyways but even i cant figure why so many people shout about halo. I played the first game on the original xbox and yes it looked nice but the often repeating cut/paste level design and enemies made the whole experience very 'samey' after a while, i did complete it cause at the time it was the only game i had for my xb but it wasnt a revelation to me.

I know i'll get lynched for this but i enjoyed Goldeneye on the N64 much more than i did halo, for me atleast halo is one of the absolute most overrated games there is.

So is it good or average? I also can't count many FPS better than Halo since it came out. Before? Yeah games like System Shock, Quake or the original Half-Life were probably better.

Now FPS mostly just do a piss-poor job at copying COD and lack an identity. Bulletstorm tried to think outside the box but it was a commercial disappointment. Even Halo 4 turned into a COD clone with rewards and crap like that. FPS as a genre has gotten stale and very, very unoriginal.

Let me help you out here TC. You don't 'prove' Halo is bad by listing a load of shit games in your opening post.

Also, Killzone: I own Killzone Shadowfall and Halo MCC. Killzone is so boring that every time I try to get into it I have to stop after about half an hour before I fucking fall asleep.

For my money, MCC is an amazing compilation of excellent Halo games. You don't like them, that's okay, but don't make a complete dick of yourself by claiming Killzone is better it's a fucking snoozefest.
