How many Halo player switched to COD?

Just out of curiosity, when Halo 3 came out, shortly after that did COD4. Asuming Halo 3 players played Halo 2 also... how many of you have switched to COD4, and the sequels thereafter?

I usually play CoD more than halo now, but I play Gears more than I play both of them.

CoD and Halo multiplayer are both boring to me unless I'm playing with friends..

After all the praise CoD got, I played it and it did nothing for me at all.

After Modern Warfare 1, I gave up on Halo and never looked back. :)

Both are great to me. I play COD mostly for zombies, with the occasional mulitplayer. I definately thinkHalo has much much better and more fun game modes to play online though.

i actually think alot of people switched over to other games because halo reach was crap. i am now a hardcore battlefield player whereas before i didnt even think about buying the game.

Well when COD 4 came out I was obsessed with it unfortunately. At the time it was probably the best online multiplayer out there, while I liked the Halo 3 gameplay and multiplayer too, I just felt that it didn't really bring anything new to the series. While I felt COD4did for some reason, I don't know. But the Halo 3 campaign wass absolutely boring IMO and far too short, while COD 4 didn't have the longest campaign at leaast it was longer than Halo 3's and was actually fun to play through IMO.

But now I play Halo Reach over COD but once in awhile I get in a COD "mood" you know. But the COD series needs an overhaul, SERIOUSLY! MW3 will have a mediocre campaign at best with the same exact multiplayer and have some very over priced DLC maps come out. That's it. Battlefield 3 FTW!

I play CoD occasionally with my friends, but don't really like the game. Whenever I want them to play Halo, they always complain that if you shoot first you're not basically guaranteed the kill.

I endedup playing a lot of COD4 and MW2. ButWorld at War and Black Ops got little attention from me. I played Reach a lot more.

I switched from Halo 3 to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. I still love Halo and I also played Reach online.
