How many many 360 gamers are dissapointed in Epic?

This poll is refrencing numerous instances in which Epic has sold out fan bases and continually switches side

2006Epic - "PC gaming is Dead", "Gears not possible on PS3".... while holding a microsoft check, sells out primary fan base... the PC

2007 Epic - "UT3 PS3 console exclusive for 2007... no wait just kidding 2008"

2007 Epic to release Gears of War on PC, a year later as a finished product with exclusive levelsand not a mere 6 hour demo with buggy multiplayer costing over $70 in total for 360 owners.

2008 - Just kidding PC gamers, we received more money so 360 owners are getting all the content that we told you was exclusive.

Furthermore, their handling of various legal liscensing issues with other studios was very suspect creating many delays for various games.

It seems clear to me Epic is willing to say and do whatever the make a dollar at the expense of any fanbase.

It matters because Epic just takes pot shots at every single fan base.. depending on who they stand to profit from at present. They are no friend of anyone, lemming, cow, or hermit... and they especially are not friends of sheep. I think it matters because they lie. How can anyone not suspecting them guilty of Epic's charges when they display such behaviour?

most of those stupid comments are from Mark Rein and that dude keeps changing to whatever he likes. gears of war is an awesome game and i have enjoyed single player and multiplayer (over 11,000 kills), i was disapointed when it went to pc not coz it was not staying 360 exclusive but coz it had more contents then 360 version, also im disapointed Epic never fixes glitches, they kill 1 glitch to introduce 2 others and i think they do that on purpose so later on they can say "hey look we are still releasing patches so you can have better experience" even though the patches they release to fix introduce more glitches....

Exactly... Mark Rein needs to shut up, but he represents Epic, so therefore its Epic's stance...if Epic does not feel this way, they need to fire him.

exactly- I mean they made a brilliant game for Xbox360 that millions of ppl have enjoyed playing countless hours of single player, co-op & multiplayer. then they decide to work on a PC version which releases almost exactly 1 year later. I have no problem with it- its giving MORE ppl the chance to play the game & the extras are perfectly understandable. a few more maps & extra hour or so of single player doesnt undermine the X360 version at all.

a year is a long time in the world of gaming - so dont forget that PC gamers will have had to have waited 1 more year to get their hands on gears of war- i think the X360 gamers have done pretty well getting it a year early. Epic always has been a PC developer.

good points.. I cannot deny the quality of games, but then you have issues with games like Gears being developed with other peoples money and time.. i.e. silicon knights.

I mean.. I hope PC gamers are ready for it, what will happen in 2008? Epic will announce Gears of War II... and you wont be seeing it until 2010 after they tease you with the first one, but will anybody buy it this time knowing that early adopters are just going to get screwed again? With halo 3 released... Gears online is a wasteland.

It is all business. I thought it was stupid how they said UT3 PC needs Quad Core, 4 gigs of Ram, and 8800gtx in sli to run the game well, then they just change their minds and say otherwise. Epic has been Flip Flopping a lot, just as long as their games are good I could care less.smokeydabear076

Do me a favor and find me the quote where this was said because I don't recall this at all. As a matter of fact I recall Cliffy B being very adament about the PC as a stronger platform than it has ever been. Although I do see that as something mark rein would probably say, but even still, mark rein has said stuff similar to Cliffy. So once again, find me that quote.

I don't want them to be my friends, I want them to make me a great game, GTFO, and make me something else. If releasing that same game later on another console helps them make the money they need to make something else for me, even better.

i think lemmings should all be greatful for all epic has done for the 360.

and lets not forget, epic is the one that pushed microsoft to make the 360 have 512mb of ram. without epic, the 360 would not be able to handle all these great games that are being released.
