How many more millions will the Wii have to sell for you cows...

to finally accept that the Wii completly pwnz the pos3? right now I'm pretty sure the Wii sold more than 5 millions and the PS3 isn't even at 2 millions. Now you will tell me to wait, but I think almost all consoles sold the most during its launch period and if its the case it'll be like 15 million Wii sold next christmas against like 5 million PS3s.

Who cares about the sales. Once the Wii can do high resolution textures, HDR lighting, and outputs in 720p or 1080p then I'll admit it's better...

But the kinds of games people want on hand helds are not the kinds of games they buy consoles to play. Right now Wii is like a console version of the DS and frankly  mini games shouldn't cost 50 dollars to play.

What happens when all the casuals realize GTA IV isn't going to be on the Wii? Thats a huge casual game that is going to boost 360 and PS3 sales.

Oh and Nintendo won't go from selling 22 mil gamecubes to selling 100 million Wii's. Its just simply impossible. Just like Sony won't just go from selling 100 mil PS2's to selling 22 million PS3's.  Realistically the Will will double gamecubes numbers and PS3's will be cut in half.  50 mil PS3's and 40 mil Wii's will prob be sold by the end of this gen.

No offense, but i don't think anybody is going to listen to someone's opinion about the Wii with a name like PS2Hawk.

The Wii is currently only selling a little over 2 to 1 over the PS3, so yes, the European launch will make a huge difference. But secondly, no matter if you're a fan of the 360 or the PS3, all of us who own either one can attest to the fact that the Wii is hardly a machine built to last for the long haul. In the next 2-3 yrs most homes will have hdtv's in them. Meanwhile, the PS3 is picking up momentum and the next two years will see it getting that same great software support that millions are already in love with.

If the Wii can pick up some good 3rd party support, they will continue to decent for at least the next 2 years... but beyond that, the technology will just be too old to be relevant.

By then the Xbox 360 will have already lowered it's price and increased it's sales even further than they're at now. :twisted:

Keep in mind that the Xbox 360 is already making a profit on every console sold as of 4-6 months ago. Sony is far from making a profit on the PS3.
