This is the company you support so loyally, read carefully, especially those of you who've had RROD or other hardware issues, because Microsoft knew, they knew all about the problems that plagued this system, prior to release but they released it anyway, and ended up costing loyal customers one headache after another of CSR calls, returns, repairs, shipping, and weeks and months of lost game time way before implementing the 3 year warranty deal, which by the way is over for most 360 owners and does not exist for new 360 owners.
So what are you so loyal to ?, 360 and PS3 libraries are virtually identical, barring a few exclusives, which PS3 happens to have more of, and Sony definitely has the more reliable console, with the more advanced hardware.
I mean ask your self how much are you going to continue to spend on repaired or replacement consoles, and then how much more for the yearly Live subscription, it's not worth it, PS3 users have the exact same gaming experience for free and now with the new and ever evolving social community of HOME it's a new place to hang, meet friends play games, shop, hang out, hook up with more gamers.
Speaking personally for me the proof is in the pudding: example i had my 360 Elite for over a year before trading up for the PS3 and i only had 2 people in my friends list.
I've had Playstation HOME for mere days and i have almost 20 people in my friends list, yeah i know most of you see my user name and are like
" yeah whatever ", but i started with 360 first, i waited on line all night in front of Best Buy in 2005 for that 360 and for my trouble that 360 went RROD, and so did the 2 that followed, so i paid my money, dues, and patience to Microsoft and now i'm done with them for good.
That's why i say you guy's are backing the wrong company, but hey believe what you want, because i'm sure none of you who have had issues with your 360 will consider anything a Sony fanboy says anyway, but it was worth a shot.
