How many of you got X / S or the PS5 / PS5 Digital

So no option for people who didn't actually manage to get one because of low stock world wide other than a "salty PC gamer" option... Cool you thought this through well as their are more console gamers who want those consoles but couldn't get one than PC gamers.

Also people who are interested but getting it later?

I haven’t gotten one yet. Definitely would like to pick up an Xbox Series X sometime in the near future though. No poll option for me though so I guess I can’t vote. 🤷‍♂️

Well fk i wanted to add the gettings later but forgot. If a mod can add the option, would be great.

My Series X was initially scheduled to arrive today and Fedex change the delivery to...pending. 🤬😡

You didn't bother getting the ps5? It was so easy to get. In Canada that is.

Target just gave me a tracking number for PS5 and says I should receive it by the end of tomorrow. Thankfully, it's shipping from just north in Oregon.

I was kinda tempted to splurge for a PS5 (if I could) today, but nothing was out there, so i'mma stick to my guns and wait.

Didn't you say you already have an One X and only 1080p TV?

@Pedro: Game in the UK is the only place you can still pre-order the PS5 but it has a disclaimer saying any orders after the 10/11/2020 might not be delivered on launch day.

So I THINK Game is just trying to get peoples money and they KNOW they don't have the stock what so ever.

I have been thinking about pre-ordering but I'll wait, I don't want to end up waiting till December for my Game pre-order to come through if I can go down to a supermarket on Launch day that has a gaming section and just buy one.

@me2002: No. I have an Xbox One S and yes I do have a 1080p TV. What does that have to do with me wanting to get an XSX though?

Got my XSX, came one day later than supposed. Panicked for a while thinking it was going to be super delayed as the seller told me there were stock issues and couldn't tell me exactly when it would come.

Just saying if I got a One X with a 1080p TV then I wouldn't need Series X right away since performance mode on 1080p probably looks the same.

@me2002: Ok? Well like I said I have the Xbox One S, not the One X. Also it’s not like I can’t or won’t be able to get a 4K TV after. I don’t know why some people are acting like I have to have a 4K TV before I get the XSX. 😅

I initially fell through the cracks of the pre-order debacles but managed to snag an Xbox Series X on launch day from Walmart.. They did an online order/in-store pick-up thing and I got lucky.. I believe the Walmart I went to only had four and I was able to get one reserved online..

I basically woke up that day resigned to the idea that I likely wouldn't be able to get the new console until sometime next year but by that afternoon, I was unplugging by One X and installing my new Series X..

Turned out to be a good day after all.. 😊

I pre order it in September and don't even get it day one. I don't even have a tracking number like wtf!!!

Where did you pre order from? I got one from walmart, shoppers drug mart and amazon. None of them showed up yet haha. Canada sucks sometimes

Walmart as well. I bought a 2nd one this morning from BestBuy, hoping i could come pick it up, but they told me to f off. Neither have a tracking number and my Demon's souls copy is waiting.

... but I got my PS5!

Got a physical PS5 and I must say, the controller is very interesting and actually gave me that wow factor I've been looking to feel again for years. On that note however, I'm still trying to get used to the new feel and size of it... So far so good. If you haven't tried Astro I really recommend it. It really illuminates all the features and the trigger tension is amazing.

I'll post some thoughts when I get the XSX as well.
