Me. I'm a Halo fanboy, so i'll be getting it. But i think it's made for halo nerds like myself, that's why they aren't making many of them at all. Everybody will just get the normal versions.Ninja-Vox
Nice to know i won't be the only one.Â
I'm getting it, so are all of my 20+ friends. Why settle with the inferior version of Halo3? I want only the best.Click_Clock
The Halo 3 will not be superior. It be the same game. You just have fancy "extras."
I want to but I'm only getting the $50 or $60 version of Halo 3, I don't know if it will be $50 or $60 I think it is $50 because first Party titles are $50 on the 360 right.Nintendo_Ownes7
so far they have not broke this rule and no official price besides the legendary edition of halo 3 have been announced. 1st party means MS or a company owned by MS, not just exclusive (Bungie is owned by MS)Â
im getting it for the halo 1 and 2 cutscenes on the h3 engine.mirlegend
yea, then when they are put on youtube, you'll feel like crap.
I am. I know at least 3 people who are linin up at midnight with me to buy that thing in the cold Scottish winter, but it's worth it. People will buy this for the same reason people buy the limited edition or the two disc special edition DVDs these days, I only ever buy the two disc versions when I get the chance - never settle for second best. Besides, if you're a Halo nut, you'll want the DVD with all the cutscenes from the trilogy on it, at least till the Halo movie swings back into production.TarmacChris
It's been canned. :) Joe Staten said the deal between microsoft and the movie companies falling through actually brought about a sense of relief for them, and it was at that point that they realise they weren't comfortable with a Halo movie and didn't want to risk selling the storyline out. Instead, they're going to stick to just making the game and are expanding the storyline through a partnership with peter jackson to create a story-heavy, interactive movie-game-thing, the Halo Wars game and the books which have already been an amazing success thanks to the awesomeness of the author. Those things combined effectively replace the movie.
Someone ahead of me just reserved it today at gamestop in my town... I wasn't really listening until I heard the price tag its like $100+, at which point I nearly spit out my bubble tea all over the guy in front of me.Â
I then preceeded to pre-order a normal copy of halo 3 and pre-pay for odin sphere... and I had a good laugh with the guy behind the counter about the rediculous price tag for a novelty helmet and a few extras.
More power too you if your a fan I guess, but what the hell just buy another game instead of the legendary version
no i want to watch them in hd not some crappy compressed video.mirlegend
okay, they will be for free on some other website in HD. either way, over 100 dollars for a game, you would lose. but hey, not my money. knock yourself out.
$100
Halo fanboys will buy this and Bungee will laugh their butts off all the way to the bank.Â
"But, but, but the extra features of teh Halo 3!"
I got suspended for 10 days a while back for making fun of Halo 3.
Aren't they all sold out already? I thought it was number 1 on the amazon list for a long time and I heard they may or may not be sold out.DaysAirlinesAs far as I know there are no places doing pre-orders anymore, I was talking about that further up.
