How many "AAA" titles do you feel you've played this gen?

I was just wondering which/how many games you feel are of the utmost quality this gen that you've played.

So that's 12 titles I would score over 9/10 for exceptional design except for inFAMOUS which I just love despite its many flaws

For sure. I'm speaking as a person who's been gaming on the Wii (the one which supposedly has no games:P ) only up until the end of August 2010 when I got the PS3. There are a ton more games I need to play on that system

As far as I'm concerned

"A" is 8.0-8.4/10

"AA" is 8.5-8.9/10

"AAA" is 9.0-9.9/10

"AAAA" is 10/10

True, true. I have been slacking with my PS3 games (re-buying old 360 games) so i'm behind on what it offers. I'm also behind on the Wii's. I own too many damn systems :P

I like it a lot so far, but it might seem strange to some that I chose the PS3 because I have a huge problem with games trying to be too cinematic. More often than not this gets in the way of the games gameplay which is the #1 most important thing to me. that's why I am avoiding Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Heavy Rain. I'm having fun with some PS1 classics, inFAMOUS, Batman Arkham Asylum, Devil May Cry 4, Modnation Racers, 3D Dot Game Heroes, an the Sly collection

Maybe Demon's Souls would have been here too if I hadnt overhyped the difficulty. Expected something hard, ended up getting one of the easiest games I have played this gen.

If you dont like cinematic experience, you are doing the right thing avoiding Uncharted MGS and HR. I too cant stand when games are trying to be cinematic and I consider cinematic gameplay along with unavoidable handholding to be the worst things in the video game industry atm. I would recommend Demon's Souls, that game has like 3 cut scenes in the entire game and is absolutely NOT cinematic and was made by From Software who made 3D Dot Game Heroes.

I only felt I played 3 which were SMG, SMG2, and Brawl.

I think I like 99% of games equally tbh. It's a weird feeling, but I just seem to be able to enjoy just about anything I play :) I think I'd be a terrible reviewer, so I don't feel like giving a score to anything despite the request in the OP :P

However, I didn't like God of War 3, CoD4, or LBP which is saying something given my previous comment.
