Well considering the garbage pile that was ES4, it should be much better. Unless they screw up again.
17 times better. At least. Possibly as much as 117 times better.JandurinThis guy tried a bit to hard to be funny

If they dont make it so freaking easy ill get it
monsters that always lvl up when you do so they stay the same lvl all the time... WTF!?!!?!
well if Elder Scrolls IV is the "advancement" over ESIII it will be worse tbh :s
It will likely be better tho ^^ they tryied some things out in Fallout 3, which may be useful in an ES game.
I am a bit cautious tho, I think it might impress me slightly and if I had to give it a number, I will guess 10-20% improvement (if it is possible to say it that way)
I hope they straighten out the chr advancement, and skip autoleveling.
Also I hope they work ALOT on animations, and the make it fluid.
Oh and hire some writers for the love of G*d, ehen if you have some allready, a change of pace wouldnt hurt.
That's just a rumor. It's most likely going to be set in Akavir.Where are you getting the info from? Oblivion was awesome, this one is apparently set in skyrim.

I actually expect it to be worse, just like Oblivion was worse in many ways (better in some) than Morrowind.
Bethesda has been on a process of continuous refinement of the TES series since it first came out, they started with an insanely detailed open world RPG and are cutting it down to reduce the costs while broadening the audience. Generated landscapes, blunt axes, cut & paste models/animations and so on are all examples in Oblivion of measures taken to reduce costs.
I highly doubt they will add anything in TES V, they are much more likely to take stuff out or combine skills.
Id like to see more customisation in your armour, more varied ruins and caes, and better voice acting.
On the graphical front I would like to see a better draw distance for things like grass and creatures for long range archery as i love hunting things like deer.
Ill love it though, I put around 300 hours into oblivion.
Oh and ps4? lol wut???

The animations in Bethesda games are horrible. Utterly broken. They shouldn't allow you to play in a TPV (Third-Person View) if their animations are crap.
Fix the animations.
Well, they should be rolling in money after Elder Scrolls IV and Fallout 3, so we should at least get a technically refined product, even if it's definitely not going to be as deep as Morrowind was. If they continue along the same lines as Fallout 3 at atleast TRYING to be an RPG, and manage to work out a combat system that doesn't suck horribly, then it'll be a pretty good game.
