How much does xbox360 online cost?

Sicne i heard that microsoft might dropped its prices in the fall, so i wanted to know how much online costs, and does anyone know when its rumered to drop the price and how much?

$49.99 a year (official renewal pricing from Microsoft). Like the poster said below (how he pays around 40% less), you can scour the internet or streets for cheap 12 month XBL cards.

I have not paid more than $30 for the12 month subscriptions.

would u say its worth it?, and are there any good exlcusives comign out besides splintecell , i dont like halo and gear of wars that much, and i wanted to see if any good one are coming later on? I liek the ps3's style of exclusives a bit more, and i wanted to know if the xbox360 online is good enuoght & that if u got a ps3 is it worth it for 2 or 3 xbox360 exlcusives (bcuz i know ill be getting multiplatforms games for my ps3)

if you look online you can get the 13 month cards for 30-40$

EDIT: WHY MULTIPLAT FOR PS3? Also no, it is not worth it for three exclusives, maybe six. Like banjo, fable, forza etc. (with what you already said and what I said)

$49.99 is the official price in USD but if you look around, you can easily find 12+1 month subscription cards for much less.

You can always find 12 month cards online now for $29.... they are that low right now at an ebay store for $28.

There are always sales going on but retail is $50.
