He might have a Motherboard with an APG port. So how can you upgrade that.
what if he doesnt? arguing possibilities is pretty much worthless.

By APG, I assume you mean AGP right?
You should read my link, a new motherboard is included in the cost.

Lucky Americans getting cheap hardware :( (compare the where I live)
On par with 360? $700
Id say $800-$1000 to run the newest PC games on high like Crysis.
coolmonkeykid
yes but to run 360 games more like $400-$500
That new Blackbird PC from HP...... $5,500. :D
I really want that PC. :(

the 360 has the power of a BUGET gaming pc. a 8600gt is slightly more powerfull the the 360 and is dirt cheap. any dual core cpu leaves the x360 in the dust and can be had for a bout $50. to match the 360 cost very little but to have a highend gaming pc that destorys ps3 and x360 combined cost maybe $200

Is it slightly more powerful than my 360 from my experience?
-shakes head- Not from the games I play.

Since devolepers only have to work with one hardware with the 360 they will of course look better

That's what I'm saying.
I'm sure if the devs only worked with a 8600gt they could do some real miracles.
That's the downside of developing for a PC.

Run your games at 1280*720 like the 360 (Though some games run even lower) and youll find that 8600GT does very well.

I bet World in Conflict ends up running better on 360 than it does with a 8600GT. Keep in mind the benchmarks below is with a 8600GTS, and thats slightly better than a 8600GT

So youre saying that the 360 will deliver same settings that the X1950XT has? Same deph field? Nope not enough RAM... Same textures? Nope not enough VRAM... Also while the vertical resolution of 720p is low compared to 1024 of the PC setting...

I'm saying World in COnflict on 360 will be equal to a 1950XT on High Settings and about 30FPS
A 7600GT can't run Bioshock at high settings with VSync on and 30FPS. Not even close. A X1950 however can.
